  1. Here I have a set of fabia/octavia vrs 17" wheels. They have been in my shed for some years and need to go. Overall condition is fair, they need a refurb really, some of the paint is flaking and few bits need attention but all fixable. Don't have center caps or come with tyres. I'm open to sensible offers. And I have a new aluminium front strut brace to fit fabia mk1, I think its made by forge. Very good condition, there are a few storage marks and a bit of light scratches on the top bar, could be sanded and buffed up, not that noticeable tbh. £60
  2. Here we have Original Fabia VRS audio equipment taken from a 2007 SE. First up: Skoda Symphony CD player, excellent condition, I have the security code. This unit is a warranty replacement from the previous owner back in 10/2009 (I have paper work to prove this) so its had a few years use [ive had it in storage for over a year now] Its in perfect working order. £70 Next lot are the original speakers (2 fronts, 2 rears and the Front tweeters. All in very good condition, one speaker has a little bit of surface rust on the magnet, one of the rear speakers has a 'dent' on the inner cone due to storage, but this doesn't effect the sound performance/quality. All the speaker cones are in very good condition, no sign of perishing or wearing. £25 for the pair of fronts. £10 for the pair of rears and £5 for the tweeters For the whole lot £100 Delivery will be £10, these will be listed on Ebay as well. Any questions please contact me and thanks for looking!
  3. Mine did this too, I stuck half a bottle of fairy in it. Runs a treat, 100mpg but its a little bubbly at times
  4. haha 2 stroke oil doesn't stop smoke, its the maddest thing ive ever heard!! The thing is if you burn oil you get smoke, add 2 stroke oil to your fuel, your burning oil. Its not possible to gain any performance from adding cylinder lubricant into your fuel, the way the engine works its getting full engine lubrication so you cant possibly make it better, its ludicrous. But hey, if you want to stick it in then go ahead. FYI my brother was a championship mx 125 rider and his carburetor/cylinder would have deposits of 2 stroke oil where it hadn't pulled through or burnt. He rode the cogs off that bike, think while your cruising about town where do you think these deposits are going to end up? Diesel pump and injectors? Plus with 2 stroke oil there are precise measurements needed to mix with fuel you can't chuck it in like millers, double dose, it has to be a set ratio depending how rich and lean you want, thoroughly mixed in a Jerry can or it will just sit at the bottom of the tank.
  5. Do you know exactly what 2 stroke oil does? It provides cylinder lubrication, hence when you put lean fuel into a two stroke engine it will cease up! Less smoke? dont be a dingbat, your burning the 2 stroke oil what youve added to the fuel, thats why 2 stroke engines are smokey! Completely pointless, your engine runs in oil why add more to it? plus 2 stroke oil doesnt clean injectors, nearly all 2 strokes are carburetor which use jets, your more likely to block your pump and injectors, redex cleans injectors. Its all smoke and mirrors...
  6. Thought Id post this on here before I chuck it on Flea bay. 4 Channel (110 rms per channel @ 4ohms) or 2 channel bridged (250rms per channel @ 4ohms) 1200W, Loads of features, Low SNR. More specs and details > http://www.vibeaudio...stereo-amps.pdf Very powerful amp, bought it with an idea in mind but ive changed my mind. This amp hasn't been used more than a few hours and hasn't been driven hard, its sat under my false floor for months not connected. It has a few installation marks on the heat sink but in very good condition, will put up some pictures if necessary. Comes in its original box and sleeve. Decent amplifier for anyone wanting great sound, these are selling for around £250 on the net. I'm looking for £125 Delivered
  7. the armster is slightly slimmer 120mm IIRC, I like the idea in which its mounted, id imagine it would be quite sturdy. I'm fed up with removing and cutting trim now to be honest, ive had every panel off this car, still got trim pieces laying around the house. Id rather buy a bolt on jobby and be done with it
  8. It looks like you have more clearance in the middle, stupid SE seats, they are really close together and have a protruding Blue stripe that goes down the side. The armrest just rubs on it all the time, had to move my seat forward a few clicks and adjust the angle just so it would just miss it, go round a right handler your weight shifts to the left inturn moves the seat over *creak creak* Problem is the other rests are roughly the same size so they will too rub against the seats. Take the arm rest out and ive got to stupid holes through my console
  9. with the SE leather seats there is a blue bead thing that sticks out another couple of millimeters. The armrest rubs on it which makes that leather on plastic creak, even with the rest in upright position. So when I sit in my seat, if I lean to the arm rest I'll hear the creak, really bad when you have a passenger. Maybe the other after market alternatives are a bit slimmer...
  10. Hello again! Ive had my armrest in my SE for a few months now and its pi55ing me right off. The fact its mega tight between the seats, makes a stupid creaking noise, had to adjust my seats from stopping creaking so much. Anyone have this problem? Im thinking of chucking this armrest and splash out on another one, had a look on fleabay and found this, looks promising... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skoda-Fabia-2000-2007-Arm-Rest-Center-Console-Armrest-Black-Exact-Fit-/160860320550?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item257405b326
  11. I believe its literally a bolt on part, dont need to take off the brake disc
  12. Ahhh I see said the blind man! I'm surprised they work well as most the light is shining away from the boot space
  13. LOL i did, apprantly halfrauds. I cant find it in store or on the net plus its 25 frikkin quid!!
  14. Yeah £30 is a bit pricey. I expect someone has LEDs, some worth buying. Ive got a false floor boot build, need some light for general tinkering/getting the spare wheel out. I noticed they dont turn off but I imagine a resistor will sort this... :wonder:
  15. Haha very well. Lets face it, the bulbs are pretty poor, my led replacements aint far off, but.... i have run extra wiring for a light on the other side, for an extra light i need leds. Do you concur?
  16. Need some help finding matching carpet for my boot install. Had loads of samples posted which dont match, halfrauds dont have the colour either. Anyone found some matching carpet then link me up! please!
  17. Has anyone got led boot lights? Just bought some side facing led bulbs but they are not exactly mind blowing. Recommend leds? superskoda has these high powered ones, anyone fitted these? Ta!

  19. Hate to put a spanner in the works but havent you heard you can dye plastics???? £4 rit dye, 1 pan, 1 stove, boiling water and hey presto black washer cap. The R/C boys dye all their plastics, google it.
  20. If your going the trouble of changing the pipe work, you might as well fit a diy FMIC or get the £200 kit on eBay or if your mentally ill get the Forge one. Don't think its a Skoda problem more a VAG problem as them guff bayonet style connectors are used across the ranges
