  1. Would have loved to see some Skoda's going round Mondello but I'm away this weekend. :(

  3. Shame about the old one but the new one looks cool. Hearing lots of horror stories about that 2.0TDI 170. A friend of mine in England also just bought a vRS TFSI estate/combi/station wagon/hearse/shooting brake
  4. I really think this will solve your 17705 issue. It did on mine. Well worth doing, it's actually surprisingly easy to do.
  5. I've seen a lot around Dublin, they do seem to be very popular. Still not as bad as London though.
  6. I'm pretty sure you can stay for something like 6 months on a foreign reg car. I got a 6 month contract when I started so didn't see the point in doing it but since then I've had extensions to my contract. However, since then I've changed car and plan to do the re-reg thing after 6months to be exempt from VRT. I've never been stopped by a garda and I've been through a few checkpoints where I've just been waved through. You won't get any unwanted attention as long as you park sensibly. Like anywhere really.
  7. Best way would be Kings X and then back out I reckon. The closest BR stations are New Barnet or Enfield Chase, but then you'd still have to get a bus to the bus stop opposite Oakwood station so not really worth it.
  8. Haha, I used to work there!!! Tube from Kings Cross to Oakwood on the Picadilly Line, then there's a feeder bus from the station to the campus. Bus stop is across the road from the station. Very easy once you get into London.
  9. Did Maths and Computer Science at King's College London. (Wish I never told people that when I was there) I'd say it was only 10% related to what I do now but the skills I gained helped make me a better worker. I reckon I might be financially better off now if I went straight to work and not uni. BUT those were the best days of my life and I would definitely do it again!
  10. It's very easy to change the seats though, I got a set of Golf GTI (non-recaro) seats for
  11. You should probably add that your mate bought one and you were so impressed with his, you had to get one yourself. :P For the money, there isn't a better all round car imho.
  12. I concur, the colour and the wheels go very wheel together. Did anybody else spot the chavved up Escort in the background?
