  1. Hi I have the Vanstyle blinds fitted to all the rear windows. Rear vision isn't compromised at all. As mentioned earlier the rear window blind is held in place by metal clips which slip behind the rubber seals. From the outside you cannot see in to the load space even with your nose pressed up against the glass. Works a treat!
  2. Got mine here -http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120684311370 - cheapest I could find and absolutely spot on.
  3. Ben, I hope your forgetfulness doesn't run to having forgotten to order the bits needed to get the Columbus working in my Roomster?? :S Joking apart I'm hoping the job can be sorted sometime next week as I'm going away for a few days the week after and could do with the Sat Nav working for the trip
  4. I'm up for this - add me to the list. The free STS would be great but otherwise ...... well it's only money!
  5. I bought a Bolero for my 2010 facelift Roomster and unfortunately it wouldn't fit. It's physically too big. Given that the Columbus does fit into the Roomster which has virtually the same dash layout as the Fabia I'd suggest you take care. It has been suggested on here that there are two different types of Bolero and it may be that the different size to the one I got will fit. Cheers Mick
  6. Thanks for the quick responses. I'm relieved that someone has already fitted one in a Roomster and that evrything works fine. I've also ordered the led version and am looking forward to getting it installed and set up. Cheers guys
  7. I'm waiting on my Columbus coming - ordered from the same place you got yours.I was a little reticent to start with but the guy seems top have good feedback. How long did yours take to arrive? I'm hoping to have no problems fitting it - it's going in a 2010 facelift Roomster SE so no maxidot or MFSW to worry about. Are you getting good GPS signals from the mounting position on the top of the lower glove box? Does the unit display the rear parking sensors? Mick
  8. I've come to the conclusion that the Bolero will not physically fit into the aperture left after removing the Dance HU. The bolero appears to be physically bigger than the Dance unit. Can anyone confirm that the Columbus will fit and importantly work with Roomster? It's a January 2010 model. Is the canbus compatable? Might I lose such things as the parking sensor dispaly? Any help or advice welcomed. Mick
  9. I don't find anything wrong with it - but the Bolero appears to have far more features, colour touch screen, SD card slot, 6 CD changer built in etc., etc. Stratosg - fancy buying a dance HU to replace your clearly obsolete "blues" unit? i have one for sale
  10. I've already posted this on the "Roomster owners" section of the site but the only responses I've had are from guys questioning why I would want to do this. Can anyone here offer any practical advice? Hi there, first post having become the proud owner of a 2010 Roomster 1.9 Diesel SE just a week ago. The car is fitted with what I assume is the standard "Dance" radio CD unit. I would like to change this for the Bolero unit which is standard in the Yeti and some Octavias. Can anyone tell me if it's likely to be a straight swap or might I face problems? Cheers
