Hi folks. My demo model fabia vrs came with mdi connection pre-installed. I have a zune hd music player. The cable's one end in USB which plugs into the laptop for syncing/charging and the other end is a proprietary connections which fits the player itself. so can I buy the usb mdi cable and use the same sync/charge cable to control the zune hd via my car stereo or is the mdi usb cable only designed for thumb/flash drives? is my only alternative then using the aux cable which is what I am using atm anyway or bluetooth?

Thanks ChrisRS. Tried to get the thumbnails to work but the forum board didn't like the IMG tags. Got a good deal on the car. Was a demo model. Only done 1700kms. Tinted, has MDI fitted, LED fog lights amd the black color mags that I wanted along with the black roof. my first ever european car. loving it! brand new with on road costs goes for $39k with the accessories that I wanted. got demo for $34k. the sales rep who ordered the demo for the company luckily had the same taste in colors as me.

buy something else. the front and back of your car already says skoda fabia vrs. why advertise your car again?
