Cheers folks your a great bunch booked car in to main dealers and guess what .............. Screen has now reappeared so will see what happens in morning that's when it went blank last time fingers crossed ?? Failing that I'll try fuse thanks once again

Hi all got in my 2011 Octavia vrs this morning bolero radio works but the screen has gone blank is there a reset I can do or does the car have to go back to dealers ??? Many thanks for your comments in advance

Thanks folks for swift replies I didn't check the oil when I picked it up only after the first 300 miles or so think I'll keep monitoring it and see how things go had many brand new cars over the years and have never had to top oil up till about 8k or so that's why this threw me a little on balance tho what a great car made up with it !!

Had my new vrs tsi 2011 model since new in April covered 1600 miles so far and have used a litre of oil is this normal ???? Thanks in advance for replies ??

Hi all had my new 11reg Octavia vrs for a week now and I love it but I'm horrified to see skoda re-badging cars with a new logo ? Making my new car look dated allready do any of you knowledgeable folks know if u can change the badges/logo on the car grill,boot and steering wheel to the new type when they become available ??? I have managed to get a cancelled order petrol Octavia vrs from my dealer for delivery in march on the vat free promotion also but I was under the impression that the reg fee , first year road tax and delivery charge were not part of the vat free offer can any forum member clarify this at all as I haven't any paper work as yet thanks in advance

hi found this great forum thought id better introduce myself ive bought an octavia vrs tsi race blue its a cancelled order hopefully take delivery 6th march on new plate had many hot hatches over the years gti s,type r,and vxr looking forward to my first skoda every owner i come across has nothing to say but good things !!! matt (north wales)
