I use a kuda console, looks good, easy to fit, no sharp edges but for now only available in LHD. http://www.kuda-phonebase.de/dynpics/047120_G.jpg -
I have manual seats on my Ambition spec and can change the locking settings through Maxidot , problem solved !?

Hi, I'm a consultant ophthalmologist living and working in Poland (couldn't bear the NHS beaurocracy); Laser corrective eye surgery involves modelling the cornea - the transparent bit at the front of the eye- not the lens, as such it is pretty much a surface operation and doesn't involve going into the eye itself. OCDetailer, you're absolutely right; laser surgery should usually be performed after reaching a period of about 2 years of stable refractive error, because if the eye is still in the phase of increasing error then glasses will be needed some time after the operation. The amount that the eye can be corrected by is dependant on the thickness of the cornea; as the operation involves shaping the cornea by laser (and yes, there is a slight smell similar to burnt hair) , the higher the error the more the cornea needs to be shaped. I have not had any experience with problems in cataract surgery following laser corrective surgery, it involves a completely different part of the eye. The operation is largely performed automatically by computer controlled laser , the ophthalmologist prepares the eye and seals things up after the machine has done its' thing. Technology has come a long way in the last few years and results are now excellent, incidence of complications are also much less frequent. Feel free to ask away, if I can be of help I'm more than happy to answer any questions...

I'm currently living in Poland, waiting to pick up a 1,4Tsi Twindoor next week. I picked up a pair of blinds on the Polish equivalent of flea-bay for about 50 quid, the quality is good. Pics are in the link: http://moto.allegro.pl/zaslonki-pod-wymiar-skoda-superb-ii-limuzyna-i1432660003.html The blinds are available from the same seller http://epc.net.pl/camperland/product_info.php?cPath=26&products_id=68 but for some reason they are priced at 70 Euro from his company site. If anyone is really keen , I'll be in Portsmouth area around Easter, could probably bring a couple over to Blighty! Edit : 77 Euro including shipping -
Hi, I've been a frequent visitor here over the last few months, a brilliant forum which helped me decide what car to buy. Picking up a Superb 1.4 Tsi Ambition next week, can't wait !

Forecast delivery dates vs. actual from recent orders

Hi , newbie member here. Been trolling the forums for a while, great site. Ordered a 1,4 Tsi Ambition saloon manual g/boxin in Amethyst w/xenon lights and a few other goodies on 19th December, just been informed that the build date has been moved earlier to week 7 !! and should get it from the dealer on 5-7th March. Really didn't want the estate- it admittedly has a nicer backside but a) the saloon is more pleasant for the kids inside when you open the boot in a Polish winter b ) the saloon has enormous load space anyway c) the combi has a bit of a rep-car reputation over here, saloons are that touch classier Drove a demo with the 1,4 engine, more than enough for my needs and driving style (mostly city stop-start and the occasional long distance trip with the family). Very smooth and no DPF problems - especially regarding iffy fuel quality over here. Always got the 2,5l V6 Mazda if I really want to go a bit faster ! Best regards to all, Cory
