JHP-VRS

This is the car I got to replace my vrs. It's a seat Leon cupra r 265bhp So far I'm really pleased with it, lots of fun to drive and not too bad on fuel. I do miss the vrs but glad I changed it. Here's one of my last pics of the vrs. Getting a good run!

Just to update my origional post, the mk2 fabia vrs has gone and in its place I have a seat Leon cupra r. I was going to have the new octy vrs but went to vw to test a golf gti... which wasn't available when I went, so they showed me the cupra r and after a test drive I decided to go for it! The main thing for me is no dsg because that was the main part making me bored of the fabia! And it's got all the toys I wanted ie leather, cruise control, sat nav and it goes like stink! I think I will miss the fabia and Skoda ownership as generally it's been good, but at least I'm still in the same group kinda! :-)

Well the test drive went well! The Octy vrs is an impressive bit of kit, if the finances look viable il be ordering a manual petrol vrs octy next week and saying bye to the fabia!

Any one else got bored of their mk2 vrs? Iv lasted 2 years and now I'm really bored of it! I had a Mazda rx8 before the vrs which was great fun but a pain in the arse and wallet! I would never have had an auto before but loved the fabia vrs when I saw it advertised, when they came out so decided that the dsg would be ok to live with to have such a cool car! But now the novelty has gone! So Iv been looking at all sorts of cars to replace the fabia and almost set myself to a Subaru or gt86. then... I saw the Octavia vrs .... Omg Skodas marketing dept have done it again Iv seen the advert and instantly want one! Iv got the test drive booked for Saturday and got insurance quotes £200+ cheaper than my fabia vrs! Any one else in this situation? Anyone else tried the octy vrs?

That is a great idea! I bought a black richbrook with the vrs logo laser etched on it.

Cant say as iv taken much notice of the dark interior to be honest iv just being enjoying the drive far too much to worry about who's in the back!

I'm around Birmingham, Solihull, and Coventry in my rallye green/black roof vrs. Not seen a single other one, not even a dealership test drive .. Apart from when I drove it.

Picked up my vrs on Saturday morning! WOW it's awesome, iam very pleased with it.

Yeah it's definitely been a quick one, when the dealer told me the build date he said that I had done well compared to a lot of his customers. I guess it's part to do with me keeping options to a minimum and a large part to do with luck of the draw!

Extremely excited now! Just had a call from the dealer to say my car is arriving tomorrow! Going to sign papers today then collect Saturday. :-)

Mine was built build week 12 and exactly the next week was mid Europe being transported to the port, waiting now to find out if it's here! I guess I got about a week go wait.

I got 2500 for a 04 rx8 with 84k on if. Way less than I wanted but it's a hard car to sell cuz of how un reliable they are after 60k.

Ordered green with black roof, shadow alloys, arm rest, mfsw, bluetooth.

I ordered my vrs start of feb. It was built last week an is currently making it's way across Europe to the port should be here early/mid April. Original estimated delivery was June.
