  1. What's louder chaps? Jetex non resonated or piper also running a ebay special 3" downpipe and decat?
  2. Does your fuel gauge go up and down when it gets below half a tank of fuel aswell?
  3. Hi chaps, After fitting an ebay downpipe and decat to my VRS, will this one fit my standard exhaust system? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKODA-OCTAVIA-2000-2003-1-8T-TURBO-20v-STAINLESS-STEEL-EXHAUST-DECAT-DOWNPIPE-/221044123203?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item337741a643
  4. I had this problem on my old vrs, and it cost me a gearbox! The sender unit broke and fell into the gearbox and managled my gearbox. Fingers crossed it aint that!
  5. He fancy a yellow one? 102k Full Skoda service history
  6. My IHI turbo'd 325bhp Vrs used to run a straight threw system with just a 100 cell race cat, sounded like a plane taking off on full 1.6 bar of boost. I loved it, was pritty normal on idle and when not on boost, then all hell broke loose when on boost! Turbo'd Vags just arent very loud with straight exhaust systems ive found.
  7. Second VRS for me, first one was a 325bhp IHI powered monster, and my current one is a standard yellow vrs, also had a fabia vrs with a remap.
  8. All about the sleepy looking skoda, makes me miss my silver IHI powered Octavia, nothing beats ****ing all over an evo, scooby or even a porsche in a taxi! Lol
  9. Ive actually had 2 S4 avants lol Ive also had a DC2 Integra Type R, massively over rated car imo! Cheeky pic of the first S4 avant and the old Volvo 850R
  10. I had a Volvo 850R estate at age 20 B5 Audi S4 estate at 21 Silver MK1 octavia vrs at 22/23 And now another octavia vrs mk1 but now a yellow one. I just refuse to pay the stupid insurance costs on the evo/scoobys etc. Oh im 24 btw!
  11. When i had the old IHI power'd octavia the paint work was terrible imo but i loved it, was the fact it didnt care where i parked it, do a back lane sprint or putting it in the gravel trap at a track day. Paint work should be ropey imo lol The yellow vrs i have now, is far to clean for me, its that clean im thinking of selling it because its to clean for me!!
  12. I found a few bodges on my old car when i stripped it and that was as far as i could see from the receipts built by jabbasport
  13. There is a little white plastic thing on the linkage that connects to the gearbox, i broke abit off mine on my vrs and now and again during agreesive gear changes the whole linkage would move over and then neutral would be all over the place, worth a check.
  14. Ive had KW Varient 3's on my old Octavia vrs, they were awesome but over kill for a road car imo. I then broke a coilover so bought brand new Weitec Hicon GT for £500 and imo were far more suited for the road, and drove well on them.
  15. One thing ive learnt over the years is when you have an accident you never let the police arrange the recovery, always sort that out with your insurance or your breakdown cover.
  16. I see the fuel light is on there Jake, no surprise there then
  17. If you drive anything like me, then you'll break it. I dont think there very well built personally.
  18. Cheers for the comments all. It wasnt as shiny when i got it, spent 4 hours at my mates on Saturday with the buffer! Also whats the actually name for the yellow?
  19. Well picked this up on Friday, after stripping my IHI powered VRS ive fancied another but standard and and less lairy but it had to be a yellow one, so went and looked at a few before i settled on this one. Completely standard at the moment, and will stay like that for winter i think. Comments always welcome.
  20. Drove a few vags on them **** coilovers, drive aweful, bounce all over the road, then they rust and sieze and dont last very long when dropped low. No your right i havent ever bought any, i aint that stupid or delued to think they'd be any good.
