    Thanks erindad very helpful. Why did u have to replace the 4 bolts tough? Iv use of a lift so should make it easier too.

    My aircon has stopped working,only noticed a few days ago in the warm weather,my car is out of warranty since April 18th,I'm hoping it's not the pump as the car has only 20k miles done. I do see a small stone damage hole in the condenser so this must be why. When I activate the ac it kicks in but not cold,I also hear a fairly load hissing noise from behind the vents,is this a sign of low gas? Anyway my main question is how much stripping is there to replace the condenser? Or has anyone done one,I'm a mechanic by trade but never done much work on these yet. Also I'm hoping it can be repaired rather than having to buy a new one. Thanks in advance.

    Mines just stopped working,just found a small stone in it,when i turn on the ac I'm getting a hissing noise inside the car,anyone else have this?

    There's a lot of Vrs jealousy on here I think,elegance is a nice car but the Vrs just stands out on its own. End of story. And the 184bhp is a lot more than the 150. There a few lads on here could not wait for the Vrs and bought an elegance that are kicking themselves I'd say. I'd find it very have to go back to a basic style octavia. Just put one beside the other and there's no comparison.

    It's quiet normal. And anyone above with a mkll it's also on them all just not as noticeable. It's actually quiet bad on bmws. Personally the mklll white Vrs i looked at was not great as in tiny bits of dust under the paint on the bonnet and roof. I'm very anal about paint work so it takes a trained eye to see it.

    I think a leather is a tad better in the mkll.

    The material in the non leather seats looks as bad and baggy too. The mklll vrs seats look really cheap quality although they are comfy

    Not the best engine to be honest. Give emissions issues too.

    Lot of good tires are perfectly fine all year round. In Ireland we get similer weather to u guys and u never hear of people changing wheels for winter.

    This is not normal on anew car. Unless they dropped in a pd engine by mistake lol The cr engine gives next to no Dpf problems so it's unusual. Iv done 15k in my 2012 vrs without a clitch.

    This life shine pack makes me laugh,if a child pukes on the seat it won't make any difference,same as life shine bull to the paintwork after a few washes it will be gone anyway and it doesn't protect from damage etc

    Looks great, did u order the 19s as an option? It's does look like it's sitting quiet high on the 19s, all it needs now is mud flaps to finish it off

    Lovely car. I love the plate surrounds too but at 20 pounds including postage mmmm
