  1. Wheels look smart mate. What's the specs? 16" 8j et?? And tire size? Thanks.
  2. Car looks really nice mate. Wheels came up great! Still need lowering though!
  3. ARB's are funny mate. I'm bot speaking from experience on the furby but I've got adjustable arbs front and rear on my Nissan and the front one is best at it's softest setting. I've tried having it on harder all this does is make the front end "feel" tight and more responsive but it increased under steer and did no allow enough weight transfer in the corners to get good grip. Also just looking at a bar tells you nothing about it's stiffness. Some hollow bars are big but weak compaired to some solid stiff versions.
  4. Loving the fact you need comfort at 23! Lol. My 350z is lower and very stiff and would drive me round the bend if I had to drive it everyday now but it's great fun at weekends etc. I think you could have the fabia and something cheap as a 2nd car for a run about? I've got a vauhall omega auto v6 worth nothing as a daily run about. Cheap as hell, comfy and auto which is great! Lol.
  5. Lol. Brain swap the tdi out for a 1.8t! I've not got my fabia yet but if I wanted a 1.8t I'd jut buy an audi TT or S3! The point of fabias is sporty diesel with good economy and speed. I'm still thinking what I have in my first post is a good start? Lol.
  6. Does any one have a link to a set of 312mm brakes? Are these just oem tt front brakes?
  7. That makes sense guys. I'm not sure on the tire removal as this would make a nose heavy car even more un balanced? A remap is a no brainer and I'm lookin Into coilovers as the highthe stock fabia is a joke! Lol. Most springs bring the car down 30-40mm and this makes the car look better but the car needs a 60mm + drop to look good IMO. wietech are ok I've heard? I like the look of the wrapped grill so that's a quick cheap mod.
  8. Cars nice mate but the pink wheels make it look a joke. The way to make them better is to use spacers or have them banded an extra 2" wider and strech your tires back on. The pink wheels NEED a good aggressive off set to look cool. Nice progress so far though mate.
  9. Just a quick question on what's the best modifications for the money on the fabias? My plan for the short term is: A set of coilovers (£300-£500) ? Remap (£300-£400) Tints (£200) RARB (£150) < do these really make much difference? Worth out lay? Colour coded grill (£???) Any thing else that's a worth while mod?
  10. Oh wow quite a young group on here then! At 24 I'm older than a lot of you! Ha.
  11. Just a quick question people. I've searched but not found a vRS only poll. I'm 24 and feel bloody old! Ha. How old are you lot on here? Thanks.
  12. Im sure adding some hidden or custom pipe from the front bumper could not be too hard. I think Ill be doing some form of air box mod and cold air feed on mine when i get one. Any pic's would be great if any ones done one?
  13. Guys I have had a quick search and did not come up with much, are there different types of yellow for the vRS? Some cars look like a washed out yellow and some look very bright deep yellow? Are all the fabias the same colour even for different model years? Thanks.
  14. Thanks guys some great looking motors there! I searched for the fabia stance thread and go some good ideas. I really like the look of the fabia when it's been dropped 60+ mm. Not too keen when the rim is in the wheel arch but no tire gap looks spot on! Any more pics feels free to whore them out in thread!
