Has anyone tried the K&N 57i performance air induction kit on the vRS yet?, they're supposed to allow even more airflow than the K&N replacement panel filter.

Because it was/is good value, 5 doors, good performance and it's a DIESEL! (i would never buy a petrol car with my own money)

Do they catch or rub on the bodywork or suspension?

If it's a vibration related problem as opposed to electrical, PIAA do bulbs for motorcycles that are ruggedised or vibration proof, this may help.

Must it be petrol?, why not a 1.4 tdi?

Thanks sixdegrees, maybe i should've mentioned the fact that i wanted to keep to the original diameter, but i thought it was obvious, anyway, does anyone know the offset?

Could anyone tell me the correct offset for a 15" wheel fitted with a 205/50x15 tyre?, i'm hoping it will give a little more comfort than the 205/45x16 setup. Before anyone thinks i've gone mad, i live on the Isle of Wight, those of you that visited yesterday will know what i mean (crap roads?).

Can't remember which magazine it was, may have beem Autocar, but they had a vRS on long term test. The car was standard, but during performance testing, they achieved 0-60 times of 8.0 seconds consistently, and one amazing time of 7.3!, Skoda's own quoted figures are 9.5s 0-62mph.

A lot of biking mates use Philips GT 150's, i might give them a try in the vRS.

Yes, 60 mph unless otherwise stated, keep an eye out for mobile speed traps, although Saturday isn't generally when the serious speed merchants are about.
