Thanks for your help. I have a Skoda Yeti L&K 4x4 2.0L TDI 150 HP.

Yesterday I noticed a high pitched whine which appeared to be coming from the boot area. The noise seemed worse at lower speeds. Today it has become problematic at starting having to keep the engine turning over longer to get it fired. I suspect it may be a problem with fuel pump. Many thanks Mike
  3. I have an update on my ESC alarm. Yesterday we drove to the supermarket in torrential rain with huge puddles all over the road. When I reversed out of the supermarket parking spot I inadvertently forgot to release the handbrake and drove backwards about 5 metres before I realised. Suddenly the ESC alarm went off and has stayed off. The auto stop start and the tyre pressure monitor are now working OK. Is this just a coincidence?
  4. Having purchased a more sophisticated code reader I now it's code is 01324 which is a fault with the Haldex control unit or associated wiring. As anyone had this problem before?
  5. Last week when I started the car I had a stability control error come up of the MFD and an amber warning light on the dash board. It was intermittent at first then it started coming on all the time. Then I started to get an error stop - start displayed. My OBD reader is not displaying any error codes. I read somewhere that it could be a problem with the battery and as it was 8 years old I fitted a new one. The errors stopped for a couple of days but now appears all the time again. Has anyone else had these problems and could suggest a course of action please. Many thanks. Mike.
