  1. Probably no good in this case but if you drill the stud to use an extractor, use a left handed drill bit with the drill in reverse and it will fly out
  2. Sorry mate someone beat you to them, now sold
  3. Yea no problem mate, MyHermes shop drop about a tenner

  7. Set of factory roof bars from my departed Vrs :( They tighten up onto the hooks under the little covers on the roof, very secure. They come complete with key, but one of the rubber end covers is missing (see photo), I stuck a piece of foam on to protect £25 ono plus postage which I'll work out if there's any interest I've also got a dog guard similar to to the one in the photo, which I'll throw in if you want it
  8. I think it sold on Autotrader.......not hard to lock the thread tho'
  9. Cambelt and pulley changed in 2010 at 60,000 mls.
  10. For Sale Skoda Fabia VRS 1.9 TDI 130 6 speed £3350 ono. • Completely standard – not been modified • 2 previous owners, we've owned it for last 3 years • 101k genuine miles • MOT till 06/04/15 • Taxed till August 2014 • Complete service history • Metallic “black magic” paintwork - • Air conditioning • Air conditioned glove box • Electric front windows • Front fog lights • Remote C/L • Factory fitted CD Autochanger under front passenger seat.....this is disconnected and has been replaced with an Ipod lead in the glove box - easily re-connected • Fantastic MPG – regularly see over 55 MPG on a motorway run • Nearly new front discs and brake pads • 6 month old battery • 2 good rear tyres • Trip computer • Alarm/immobiliser • Full size spare wheel Bad points • Front tyres will need replacing in the next few thousand miles • Wheels could do with re-painting • Interior seat trim showing wear and one small hole • A few age related marks and scratches dotted around the car, but nothing that you wouldn’t expect of a car of this age I'll be sad to see this go, it's been a good reliable car, quick and economical. I need a larger car for grandchildren duties. Car is located in NW
  11. Read http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/2158-warning-fabia-door-leaks/
  12. Just had this problem, my deadlock on the passenger door stayed "on" Saw this tip on here and it worked for me........ Opened rear door and looking through just above the rear top door hinge, with a long drift tapped away on the torx bolt you can see at the back of the front door while someone repeatedly pressed open on the key fob. Worth a try
  13. I need to change my check strap on the drivers side, it no longer holds the door open. I assume I have to take the interior trim off to get it out of the lower A post, or am I missing something?
  14. My apologies if this is already posted but I can't find it, I need to replace my drivers door check strap. I'm assuming it slides back into the A post lower, but how do I remove the piece of trim with the bonnet release on it, so I can slide it out?
