  1. Searched breakers and no luck yet and Skoda tell me it comes as part of the seat belt at £150+ Did find this on ebay but unsure if it will fit, but it looks the same. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-TRANSPORTER-T5-GP-SEAT-BELT-COVER-CLIP-TRIM-LIGHT-GREY-OR-BLACK-NEW-/202719400374
  2. Sorry wrong section, can a moderator move please
  3. Hi all, The seat belt cover trim (driver side) snapped off recently. I've been trying to source one but no joy. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
  4. Just trying to adjust correctly, still having issues.
  5. Will this product work to allow camber adjustment on my Fabia VRS. http://www.venommotorsport.com/product/suspension/SU13984/ I know its not for the Fabia but I recall someone telling me the Fabia shares the same platform as the Golf mk5.
  6. Great link and advice goneoffSKi if it cracks again I'm going to take the advice on the repair tape. I ordered the light from Skoda in Qatar (about 60 pound), takes 20 days to arrive. Will fit myself as it looks fairly easy........ Thank you all
  7. That's what I'm wondering, it does state right hand drive however I can't think of a reason for it not fitting a left hand drive car? Also how big a job is it to replace, I hope the bumper does not need removing? Any help is much appreciated
  8. Ive just noticed a crack in my left hand side LED DRL. I think I've sourced a replacement on ebay, any advice if this would fit my 2012 Favia VRS (left hand drive, assuming the light fittings are the same). http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-SKODA-N-S-F-LEFT-FRONT-DRL-DAY-TIME-RUNNING-LED-LAMP-LIGHT-5J0941067-/331212060593?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d1dc6f7b1 Thanks
  9. Strange thing, the worse of the buckle was from the rear
  10. Not a bad idea, but I would prefer to keep 17" rims on the car. Any other suggestions on a place where I could buy wheel and tyes at the same time? Thanks
  11. I swapped the back tyres to the front to buy me some time until I get some tyres ordered and delivered to Qatar. I still had the vibration, so today popped to the local garage ot have the fronts re/balanced. However I noticed when on the machine the wheel had a really bad buckle, got him the check the wheels (prev on the front) and one of those had a minor buckle too. So my options are, buy two new gigaro wheels or buy 4 new ones, plus I still need 4 new tyres
  12. Finally solved the problem of the steering vibration on the VRS, 2 x buckled rims (one badly), but no obvious impact damage. I'm putting this down to huge pot holes here in Qatar. Anyway, I could do with your help/guidance on the size, rim choice and company to purchase from. Firstly, what is the current size and full specification of the Giagio rims as I need this information for the new rims (not changing size, want to retain the 205/40/R17 tyres) Secondly, any suggestion on rims for the car (white/black roof car colour), leaning towards black tbh. Thirdly, any recommendation on dealers to purchase from in the UK (will need to get them shipped to Qatar) Thanks
  13. Jabozuma, thank for the information. I will get the car back on the hunter machine and follow your guidance. If I change the toe to -0.40 either side (fronts) will this correct the camber enough to stop the unaven wear? Addiditanlly what impact will the negainve toe have/if any? Whats tolerable for camber and toe? If the centre point of the steering is off when locked in place, is it easy to adjust back to centre once aligned? Apologies for all the questions, I just need to try and sort this before I hurt this set of front tyres.
  14. As I cant upload pics of the alignment I will detail the results: 3 months ago on the hunter machine after modification (technician selected standard suspension & locked in the steering wheel) Front Left Front Right Camber -1.15 Camber -1.00 Caster 3.40 Caster 3.50 Toe -0.05 Toe - 0.05 Total Toe 0.10 Steer Head 0.00 Rear Left Rear Right Camber - 1.25 Camber -1.25 Toe 0.20 Toe - 0.10 Total Toe 0.30 1 week ago on the hunter machine no modification made (technician selected sport suspension & didn't locked in the steering wheel). Technician said the problem is the camber but we cant modify. Front Left Front Right Camber -1.35 Camber -0.42 Caster 4.08 Caster 4.35 Toe -0.00 Toe - 0.08 Total Toe 0.08 Steer Head 0.04 Rear Left Rear Right Camber - 1.50 Camber -1.01 Toe 0.37 Toe - 0.02 Total Toe 0.35 Any suggestions please, recommendation on a remedy Thanks
  15. Qatar has such websites blocked, anyone willing for me to send the files for upload?
  16. Guys, how do I upload two pictures of my alignment results? Got PDF's and an email of the results
  17. I emailed Whiteline, but they don't have a product for the Fabia VRS to adjust Camber. Any other companies / ideas? Thanks
  18. Is it possible to buy adjustable bushes for the camber? I just know when the car hits the workshop the technicians are not going to have a clue about what to do.
  19. Mixture of spirited and casual driving. Problem has started to increased over the past 4 weeks, previously I used to do in town driving, now I'm site based and traveling on a long stretch of road out of town (road is OK), not sure if this would affect the tyres tho.
  20. Built in the EU, shipped to Qatar through Skoda dealership, left hand drive. Standard car with gigaro's apart from Eibach springs (fitted two months after ownership at Skoda) Pressures are 35psi fronts and 33 in the rears I'm not technically minded so appreciate your efforts, I will ask the dealer to check the dampers and bushes, however the dealer is very poor On the hunter machine, I observed the guy choosing the car model etc. He choose sports suspension is that correct?
  21. Car has done 12,500km, both front insides are down to almost zero tread (about 1 inch into tread pattern), whereas the rest of the front tyres have about 4-5mm. I have the printout at home from the 'hunter' alignment machine, I'm almost sure it said -4.00 in the red for the camber. :(
  22. After lowering my car on Eibach springs (from Skoda), I've got major problem with negative camber. Obviously the camber can not be adjusted (easily), please can anyone help as my tyres are shot In addition I'm in Qatar so trying to explain this to a Skoda technician will not be easy. Any help would be great, thank you
