Just got an old cat of a 1.9tdi (not the vrs but is there any difference?) and so I was wondering what it was worth? I also have the back box and the middle box How much do people reckon I will get so I know I'm not being done over? Cheers Jay

I have taken my front bumper apart as is is getting resprayed and I have resprayed them matte black. But I was wondering what they would look like gloss, anyone ever done it? Im talking about the front grille, nuberplate surround, fog surround and possibly the curpa r splitter. Jay

Ive just had a pipe welded in mine. Me and a mate did it in about 2 hours and it sounds great didnt cost anything because I got a scrap exhaust from his garage.

It is mapped but then next thing I need to do to get more power is a bigger turbo which will give me more boost but I will also be able to eventually map it to what mapped vrs's get so around 170bhp

A friend has just wrote of a mk4 pd130 golf and he said he would sell me all the parts to make my pd100 a pd130. So this is the turbo (80k) boost pipes and injectors. This is fitted for £450? What does everyone think? What I would like to know is.. Is this a good price? Will it be worth while? Will I need anything else? Also I have a map on my car at the moment so will I need to have a new map? Help is appreciated Jay

There called ssw mesh alloys. I am told they were an optional extra on the mk3 golf. The chrome lips are a plastic cover thing so it doesn't rust however they do have quite a few curb marks and the plastic has dome dinks in it however the centres are good condition. Two tyres are Nankang and have about 7mm each so like new, then one tyre is a budget sunfull about 3mm and other a fallen about 4mm. I would be looking for £250

Hi thanks for the excellent reply, I think I will go for powerflew bushes because you can't argue with the price fitting and a lifetime guarantee haha. Just a quick one, so there are three bushes on each side at the front isn't there? The anti roll bar bush and then two wishbone bushes, on eBay it just says front and back but I'm guessing the on at the back is the console bush? Jay
