I just logged in here to see if any threads on this. Surprised me too - I think it scored low on build quality? Mine seems fine - interior isn't very special but that's a different thing right? Drives nicely I reckon - well considering I don't suppose anyone would want a guy like a Roomster if they cared a lot about the driving side of things. Only problem I've had was a dodgy battery which was a pain but I don't blame the car for that. I did consider a Yeti but thought the Roomster a better option as seemed to have a bit more luggage space and happy to save the extra cash. Do wonder if some of the older cars with the less appealing engines brought the score down.

Spoke to them today - now think I have a faulty body control module. None in stock unfortunately!

I had planned to take to the dealer but just wanted to see if there's anything obvious to look at. Anyway, it's at the dealer now and they can't find anything wrong. Apparently I should be using it every week...no I'm pretty sure I've left it unused for longer than 2 weeks before - when away on holiday for sure. So any thoughts on how long a battery should stay charged when not used? My old car was OK after going away for 6 weeks at a time and never gave me problems over 10 years of ownership - I suppose newer cars have more going on when the car's not in use? The old one did have a car alarm.

Thanks but unfortunately I don't seem to have this problem - my camera went dark when I closed the glovebox; indeed the light turns itself off after a short while even with the glovebox left open.

A month ago the battery in my Roomster 1.2 TSI SE was too weak to start the car up, it had only been used for short journeys in recent months so wondered if that was the problem. I charged the battery up and drove a couple of 120 mile trips, all was fine. Three weeks later the battery is completely flat having not been used in that time. So I suppose something is draining the battery when not in use, any likely otions? The car is less than a year old.

Ordered mine on Sunday, dealer's computer said 3 1/2 months; hopefully sometime in June then. -
Went out to buy a C-Max but bought a Roomster

I should also add that I tried a Citroen C3 Picasso that was not much fun to drive and looks even uglier than a Roomster IMO -
I was convinced I wanted a C-Max as the new ones do look good but in the end thought it was too big for me and as I also tried a Roomster, which I liked far more than I expected to, I ended up buying one. Have to wait until June for delivery unfortunately. It's a 1.2 TSI 105 SE in steel grey and I added roof bars, 16" alloys, small leather pack and spare wheel.
