looking for chrome mirrors for my new A4 octavia. seem hard to get for the A4.....the new shape, no probs. any help? cheers guys

question.... putting on spacers... would it affect the insurance at all ? and does it affect handling ? is it worth the effort / cash ? make a differance ?

i know m8....but me being me.....i like the O.T.T. look of chrome anyway... it is one of my private hire taxis m8...so the more it stands out from the compitition the better lets just say it stands out in my little town just now..lol PASSAT 95 > & SUPERB 55> ....they look the same size...but ............. anyone else give more input here..... guys ?

sorry for repost.. asked this on general car chat... prob better on here as it is about superb ! 95> passat & 55> superb... are the wheel archs the same size ? m8 giving me set of chrome whel archs to fit 95> passat. will they fit my baby superb ? or totally the wrong shape/size.

yup..same here m8 obviously mine is gonna be 60,000 :( . so...round about oct/nov she goes.... but dunno whether to go for another superb or something a little differanty luved the car to bits.... great performance for a 1.9 diesel...ultimate comfort for me...leather ect ect.

car is used as one of my private hire taxis !. warranty............... 3 yrs or 60,000.. which ever come first...surprise..60,000

the time has eventually come friends...... my baby ( car ) has started the problem / niggles time in its life. back to dealers on mon for em to have a look. reverse around left or right corner....knocking coming from front end.. back interior door handle not working properly...people keep asking me if i have a child lock on ...u just need to pull it lot harder to open...not right me thinks. left hand door has ( and getting worse ) bad whistle when driving above 40mph. twice as worse when a windy day...have to turn the bloody cd player up so i done rip the dam window from the frame but.............. i did notice last nite....that the door has dropped slightly from its original hinge position... could this be the prob ? well, cant complain.... got it new on sept last year.....has done 41,240 miles to date... will be getting rid of her before xmas this year....as the warrenty will be up round about then ( 60,000 ) all in all....great car...... but will i go for another one ? or somthing differant ? mmmmm :naughty: by the way guys.... another guy up here has same car and .....the rear brake pads wear out FIRST BEFORE THE FRONT ONES.....but the rears DONT HAVE A SENSOR TO TELL YOU. the fronts have....so be carful and listen for em.....scored disked you dont want :eek:

95 > passat and the new skoda superb ( 54 > ) . other bits fit the superb that fit the passat.... how much of a differance are the wheel archs in size / shape ? are they totally differant ? or same size/shape ?.

newly fitted 8" tft screens with dvd/mp3 player in glove compartment. will post pic of dvd/mp3 player later... you like ?

shocking prices guys... my 20,000 service was only wks ago....i was quoted £245 from main dealer i bought it from in glasgow :eek: phoned my local one in ayrshire....£195. phoned skoda uk & spoke to manager... and asked if my new superb HAD to have its first service ( and future services) by a skoda main dealer so as to keep warrenty intact... reply was........... no...as long as the garage is vat registered and uses GENUINE skoda parts...they can stamp your warrenty book & service it no probs.... so......my 20,000 service cost me £68 incl parts AND labour. what a fecking rip off main dealers are.....
