Guys, Building on the success of the first Revo VAG vs Ford Day in 2012, we are having a second VAG vs Ford day this September on the 22nd. Like last year, Revo Technik will be present at Crail (including Paul, Kev from the main office and others from the various Revo tuners across Scotland). There are no conflicting shows/races/events anywhere in the country that day, so it should be a great day with no distractions! We have even put in a request to Judith Ralston at the BBC for good weather that day! Revo will be tuning cars on the day and if the success of last years event from the SCN day the last few years is anything to go by, plenty of cars will go home faster than they arrived! Its a great chance to run the car before and after the map to see what the difference a map makes to performance on the 1/4 mile www.seatcupra.net will be having the annual Scottish meet at this and all VAG forums will be invited (SEAT, Skoda, Audi and VW) as well as Porsche and Ford. It will be Fords chance to get their back on VAG for winning fastest Front Drive and Four Wheel Drive classes last year so a good turn would be awesome! Please note that there will be other attractions on the day including Show and Shine, best club turnout and some other surprises. Please show your interest in coming to this below - hopefully we can get a good turn out of cars and get some good interbrand banter going . Also be aware that if you are keen to have your VAG or Ford mapped on the day, there will be a a squad of lads there to do it. Bump for tomorrow! Hope to see as many Skoda's there as possible! For those leaving from Aberdeen there are a bunch of cars leaving from Asda Bridge of Dee at 8am and passing Shell on the Kingsway, Dundee at 9am. Also the weather looks like its going to be ace! Looking forward to seeing you all there! One more thing - if you go, the price is £10 to get in and £15 to run your car on the 1/4 mile. Also, if your car has a terminal speed over 110mph, youand your passengers are required to wear a helmet.

Yeah, its fast - but then it has launch control, four wheel drive and DSG so there is absolutely no skill invovled with it.

Good stuff! Looks like there will be a TTRS capable of 11.3 going, a 500+bhp S3 with a big Turbo and several Leon Cupra's capable of 12's on a good day

Quick bump for Sunday I plan to have this on the back of my car, for one day only and inly for the banter and a laugh

I hope new school RS's attend as well as the old school RS's. Revo are bringing a 420bhp Audi S5 and a 425bhp Focus RS anyway. A REVO stage 4 500bhp S3 is running as well as several Stage 2+ Mk2 Leon Cupra's.

Quick update - hopefully this will get you Skoda boys more interested! REVO have put up a prize for SEAT's and Skoda's - Fastest non tuned Skoda/SEAT over the 1/4 mile on the day will win a REVO remap Non tuned means no engine modifications/remap/air intake/uprated fuel pumps/uprated downpipe). Cat Back exhausts, uprated suspension and non standard wheels and tyres are fine - as long as the car is road legal . This will cover all Skoda/SEAT cars in attendance, so minimise the weight of your car, get your tyres at the correct pressure etc Let battle commence
