Czech Mate

I have had my 4 x 4 DSG 170 for nearly a year - 23k mileage - I get just about 40mpg and in some months it drops to 38mpg. I drive up & down motorways 80% of the time the rest is urban. I get really peed off tho with the stupid start stop which can be bloody dangerous when exiting tight x roads into fast traffic My dealer has told me it's a waiting game but I will be recalled- I don't want a worse consumption but am concerned about the MFGV @ the end of the 3 year term - If there's a deficit who's going to stump up the shortfall ? VW / Skoda hmmm I bet they will try & wriggle out of it if they can

Hi Everyone I'm just about to take delivery on a new Elegance 4 x 4 170 estate- I wanted to sense check that when I pick it up I have the most up to date maps on the Columbus unit. Can you advise how I can make sure these are the newest versions? Thanks

1st timer so treat me gently. I drive a Octavia L & K estate 1.9td and it is now done a few miles -56k in 18 mths pretty happy with it and having been spreading the word of how good these cars are. Cheers
