Confusing Wheel Part Numbers
To be honest, no I'm not sure they don't have all 3 part numbers - they're still on the car and it's pretty hard for me to get under there lol I can understand one casting for the three as it is just a different colour, but it seems a bit dumb to apply 3 part numbers to the same item in my view (for anything!). They could easily have used another process to etch the correct part number at the point of painting. I'll maybe have another bash at getting under there and see what I can see. It sounds like 'silver' is all I'm really looking for though, thanks

Confusing Wheel Part Numbers
Thanks for this, I was aware of most of it, but sadly, it doesn't really resolve the quandry. As per my original question, on the back of a spoke on my wheels is a very clear '3V0601025AG JX2 Schwarz' which the catalogue says is black-glossy, but the wheel is and has always been Silver. So I remain unclear - are the physical parts of my car incorrectly marked, or is the catalogue incorrect? Either way, it doesn't really help me find a replacement by exact part number. If I go by colour alone, is that good enough? Will all the 'silver' Zenith wheels match colour-wise, even mine with their 'glossy black' part number? If so, then 'a silver one' is what I'll aim at - clearly matching a replacement by part number is 50/50 whether it'll be black or silver!

Confusing Wheel Part Numbers
lol I know they're Skoda wheels - that isn't the question. It was looking for the right part number for a replacement that was the question. If they have only ever existed in 3 colours, Silver, Anthracite and Platinum (as per latest catalogue I have that they were in, anyway), why have others said they also come in gloss black? And why do mine state black ... makes no sense at all, unless the colour embossed on the wheel is nothing to do with the colour of the wheel itself and it's the machine that made them or something. If I could be sure, then the search might be easier - I can go find a silver one, with one of many different codes (I think I have 4 or 5 different codes for ' silver Zenith 18" ' now). They still seem to be like hen's teeth to find, in any colour!

Confusing Wheel Part Numbers
Yep, it's all very weird. I have also seen an actual gloss black one (just the one) with the same code as mine, but never seen that in any new or old Skoda catalogue. They're Zenith 18" rims. I think I saw something similar-looking for a Kodiaq but from memory (so don't quote me) they were only available in 19". Something like that. I'm reluctant to replace all the wheels as none of them have been kerbed, just a pothole has bent one a bit out of shape on the inner edge. I'll see about getting it rolled out but not entirely sure I'll trust a wheel that's been bent out and back into shape. So my hunt for a replacement goes on. I've found a few on mainland Europe but no one that would deliver to UK 😞

Confusing Wheel Part Numbers
Hi, Thanks for this, but I already understood that - what I'm saying is that the code on the wheels, on the back of a spoke, it is clearly embossed with 3V0601025AG / JX2 / Schwarz But the wheels are silver. Always have been, since brand new. That's my original question - the wheels are marked as black (Schwarz) and have a part number people tell me is for black, but they are most definitely silver. And that's why I'm confused! I have since seen a couple of (too knackered for me) wheels online with the same code that are also silver, not black. Because everyone says the part number on my not-black wheels is for black wheels, I am unclear on what part number to go looking for, original or after-market - as I really don't want to get a black one! Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks

Confusing Wheel Part Numbers
Hi all, I have a Skoda Superb MkIII 2019 (had it since new) and it has the following code on the wheels: 3V0601025AG / JX2 / Schwarz What's confusing is the it says 'Schwarz' (black) and elsewhere I've read this code indicates 'Gloss Black' wheels - only they're not, they're very definitely silver (not even anthracite), no black on them anywhere. Since I need to replace one of them, other than a precise matching code, which other codes are 'the same' ? I've seen 3V0601025F /8Z8 and 3V0601025 AE which both look (as far as internet pics allow) the same, along with after-market code 3V0071498E / 8Z8 which also looks the same, all look about the same silver colour. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks in advance

Replacing Buckled Alloy
Hi folks, I find myself in the same situation as the OP, and in need of a 3V0601025F 8Z8 (or 3V0071498E 8Z8) rim (silver Zenith 18"). On the off-chance anyone did buy the set of 4 off gumtree (they're gone, anyway) and has spares, I'm sure a deal can be made These Zenith wheels are not so easy to find - digging around, there are a few write-offs being broken up, but obviously wheels could be in worse condition, and they're not nearby to go have a look anyway. Skoda Uk also quoted me around £675 for a new one, which is stupidly steep given Skoda Parts Ireland (https://www.skodapartsireland.ie/product/zenith-18 - yes I know, that's the platinum one) list them at €315 ... there's just no excuse for that kind of UK markup; no way that's tax difference or import duty. But they won't deliver to UK I don't think. skoda-auto.cz sell them at 10,490 CZK (about £355) including tyre (https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/en_CZ/complete-summer-18-alloy-wheel-zenith-for-superb-iii/p/3V0601012H) but sadly also won't deliver here. So if anyone has one spare or knows of somewhere that will sell one for not-stupid-markup, please give me a shout! In the mean-time, if I got one of those Alcar 9383 8Jx18 ET45 5/112 57.1 steel rims, will that 1mm extra offset make any difference of note, or will I be able to drive at normal speeds, etc. and not have to think about it? It'd need to be on the front (for reasons), and I have a 190 BHP 4x4 version of the Superb, should that influence things any. Cheers
