Thank you all for taking the trouble to reply. Has anybody experienced serious technical problems with the DSG gearbox. I did hear repair costs can be quite high, especially if a re-build is required. Also, has anyone any preferences as to leasing over outright purchase? Thanks again Brian

I am giving serious consideration to buying a Yeti with the DSG auto box on board. As I understand it, I have only two engine choices with this, and of those two, I am looking at the 1.2TSi. Thoughts anyone? Cheers

Hello all. I am new to this Forum and finding my way in Briskoda World. My main reason for registering is to get views/ feedback on my next purchase carwise. I presently drive an Octavia Estate (diesel/manual) My thinking on its replacement so far is either another Octavia (Scout) or a Yeti; Auto (DSG) instead of Manual. I would appreciate any views or opinions, particularly from Yeti Owner/drivers who have the DSG gearbox on board. Cheers all bconlanii
