  2. Hi, Has anybody manged to contact or buy anything from these guys recently ? http://www.engitec.wz.cz/anglictina.html Tried E mailing them to find out about posting some Felicia tuning parts to the UK and the cost and I havnt heard back ?? THe website has said that it " Temparerally unavailable " for a while now ? Didnt know if any of you Rally boys had bought anything from them before. If not, anyone know where I can get internal tuning components for a 1300 Felicia from ? Thanks Simon.
  3. What engine mods have been carried out on the felicia and where do you get your parts from ?
  4. Does anyone know where you can get 1300 tuning parts for the Felicia ? (including internal components ) Cheers.
  5. Which is the more tunable Felicia engine ?? The 1300 or the 1600 engine ? And which has more available parts ? I would be looking to carry out head work and cams etc .

  7. Hi, See the text below, I am currently looking for a 1300 Felicia Pick Up and this is the way I gonna go. These engines are very tunable forget the 1.6, its no flyer anyway it depends on if you have the mpi or spi, either way start with the basics Full free flow filter, ditch the original airbox, get a decat section made up for the exhaust when the exhaust rots out have the centre box replaced with a section of pipe, and repalce the rear box with a decent aftermarket one - janspeed or something. this alone will free up decent power. next stage, an MPI head if its SPI, prefereable to get it worked over by someone who knows what they are doing. A cam shaft is a good idea, but will need to get the fueling altered at the same time. or you could go extreme :- You can get the long stroke crank and pistons to get it up to 1500cc, these engines once enlarged and ECU mapped to suit are good for 140hp. this is basically as per felicia 1500 cc kit car engine. http://www.engitec.wz.cz/anglictina.html Thats
  8. Thanks for that . That is a coll Pick Up ! What work was involved in doing that ??? Do you know how to lower the rear Suspension of the Pick Up ? Thanks
  9. Excellent ! Thats exactly it. A supercharged 1300 engine in a felicia . Just need to work out how he did it. Its good to know that someone else has done it aswell. Thanks for that mate . Errr, does anyone speak German ? Cheers again mate.
  10. Oh yeah , or can a supercharger kit be fitted to the original 1300 engine in the felicia ?
  11. Im still looking to fit a MK3 Polo G40 engine into a Felicia Pick Up .............. Its got to be easier than doing the above !! ?? !! Any Ideas ? Does anyone know of a reasonable 1300 Pick Up for sale at a reasonable price ?
  12. Yeah tell me about it, Im pretty gutted to find out that the G40 wont fit. I still think though that if people can fit the G40 lump to a MK4 polo, you must be able to do the same with the felicia. What replies and info did you get when you looked into it ?? I spoke to Vibra-technics about the engine mounts and found out that they can supply some custom engine mounts for around
  13. Nice one guys ! Im Ok with changing the gearbox aswell. I wasnt sure if the engine and G/box mounts would line up or if id need to get some fabricated ? I was hoping to get hold of a G40 rear end write off and then be able to use the engine , G/box and driveshafts ? Hows your Skoda coming along ? any new mods or pics ??
  14. Cool, loads of info there on tuning a 1300 8v engine. Nice ! Will the G40 engine fit, does anyone know ??
  15. Ahhhh, dont tell me that ! So will a 1600 MK4 Gti Engine fit ? As much as I dont want to bite off more than I can chew, its also gotta be worth doing the conversion. With a 1400 engine im not sure if the power gains would be enough to justify the conversion. I may aswell just tune the existing 1300 !? Would the G40 engine physicaly fit or not ? As would it then be possible to fabricate some engine mounts ? Im not sure of how it works as never carried out a conversion before but would it be possible to call upon a mobile welder and work from there or is it a bit more hassle than that ? I just thought the supercharger engine is a bit different to the Gti ! Cheers for the advice though mate. Are you gonna be able to make it down to E38 ? I can only make it down on the Sunday . Thanks Simon.
