The tyres are legal but only have 2mm of tread so think I'll replace them if I buy the car, Tried to get new front rubber as part of the deal but the dealer wont budge :-/

hi guys i'm normally browsing the octavia forum but I'm after some fabia advice, I'm looking to buy a fabia and have seen a 1.4 ambiente at a dealer. The dealer wants £3100 for the car, it's a 54 plate with 50k on the clock with service history and is in excellent condition. The dealer will also throw in a years tax and a years MOT, only downside so far is it needs 2 new front tyres. Could you please advise me if it's a good deal or whether its worth keep looking for a better car. Thanks

I have a judder too when I move off but no wheel spin in a 1.6CR Greenline II, could it be the same problem?

Don't buy from arnold clark, I've had several cars from them and every time the customer care got worse until it was at the stage it was non existant, the final straw was when they offered me 2 grand less than book when I went to see about a new car. It seems that once your out the door they don't care. Rant over

I had a pair of sunny's on my last car (205/50/17's) I was very surprised how good they were and £126 fitted for 2 tyres I wouldn't hesitate getting them again, if I was to say anything negative about them the only thing would be in the wet grip could have been slighty better.

I've finally gave in and recently bought a 1.6 CR Greenline II from Kyle's in Glasgow after months of pondering, its the best car I have ever owned,comfy, cheap to insure, good dealer service and free road tax but the fuel economy seems erratic from anywhere between 53 and 67 mpg, I was wondering if any other Greenline owners had the same erratic fuel economy? Also can anyone give me an idea if it is possible and how much it would cost to buy and fit a bluetooth kit which I could use through the bolero stereo? Many thanks in advance!
