That's it, now a fully paid up member of the club. Being flashed at by a knob in a Renault Scenic for having my dipped headlamps and sidelights on. The drls are very dim ie sidelight dim when the headlights are on and don't even look like foglights, apart from being in the front bumper that is. Can just here the conversation in the Scenic "ooh look at that Deirdre, theres a numpty with his foglights on, better flash my foglights ten times to tell him to turn them off". At least my car looks good. The End.

Hello, I have a white one, white roof and dark chrome wheels. It is a brilliant white for sure, totally stunning, never had a car so admired. Ps i put mudflaps on mine front and rear, makes it look a bit less tall, i think anyway. Cheers

Hi there, I have exactly the same problem with all 4 dark chromes. It is on the spokes,around wheel bolt holes and on 1 wheel it is around the centre cap. Car is only two weeks old. Up early tomorrow morning to visit my local dealer for a wee chat. My car is candy white and is stunning on these wheels, will have them replaced once, if it happens again maybe Skoda customer services will get a call. Cheers

My daytime running lights are slightly different colours, the drivers side has a slight yellow tinge to it. When i spoke to my dealer today by phone he looked at his demonstrator, came back to me and described over the phone exactly what i was seeing on mine. Have a look at yours and tell me what you think.

Used to be a VW warranty administrator, you'd think i would have known better. We were fitting new wheels to 3 year old Passats with "catalunya" style alloys nearly every day for a while.

Hi Kermit82, will stick with the dark chromes, beautiful wheels, everybody who has seen the car comments on them. Totally love this car, performance is amazing, lovely exhaust burble, maybe not as good on fuel as my old vrs but apart from the wife who cares.

Took delivery of my new Candy White vRS on saturday. On sunday i noticed white marks under the lacquer on the spokes and around centre caps and wheel bolt holes. This usually happens when the lacquer top coat is damaged ie stonechips and moisture gets under the lacquer. This is a brand new one day old car but is already needing 4 new wheels. Has anybody else experienced this. Should i insist that i have black gigaros instead as they are finished differently and shouldn't be as susceptible to this problem.

Picked up my new Fabia vRS yesterday. Candy White with dark chrome wheels. All 4 of the wheels have corrosion under the lacquer. Brand new car. I am planning to keep the car for a few years, going to try and see if they can be replaced with black gigaros. Otherwise it's an awesome piece of kit.

Car is now sold.

Hi there, Thanks for your reply, we are the second owners and have had it for 3years. I am a senior technician for Arnold Clark so have always serviced it myself therefore there are no dealer stamps in the book. Genuine Skoda parts and PD engine oil always used. Cambelt not replaced as yet, car is just coming up for 4 years so is due this year. Cheers Graham
