  1. Not too sure about cost from seat surgeons but at about £1000 from Skoda i think its good value and as supplied from new and by Skoda all warranty still in tact. Door cards are included.Full black leather no synthetic just great leather. Yes they seem much firmer but only time will tell
  2. Just taken delivery of new black magic Vrs. Fed up with poor quality seat covering in last 05 Vrs so decided to go for dealer fit black leather from Skoda options what a difference!well worth extra money.
  3. The holes in the bottom of door allows water to drain from door inner having passed between glass and seal. The rubber door seal is higher than sill top level, it is unlikely that even allowing for some capillery action the water could flow uphill sufficiently to sit on top of rubber. As yet water does not enter cab but of course it is Summer and we do not have prolonged periods of heavy rain
  4. I have noticed during the last few days of rain a small puddle forming on the seal between door and foot well front drivers side. I have previously had problems with both rear door seals leaking but my local dealer fixed first time Quite a common fault.has anybody else had problems with fronts.
  5. Several options are available. 1 Put No plate in hot water and tape ends together to form slight curve in plate. 2 Use stainless steel screws Grade A4 available from any good fixings supplier, note rear screws are same as used on mercedes also stainless steel cost £1 per set. 3 Only use double sided tape fit for purpose from Halfords. 4 If you must drill No plate only drill from back, drilling from front causes dacking to become detached from rest of plate and allow water to penetrate.
  6. During 12 month (1st) service Rainworth Skoda were asked to check AM reception on my Symphony Head unit. Sorry sir we can find nothing wrong came the reply, it's just a poor reception area! Surely the whole of the UK is not a poor area any one had similar problems.
  7. Seems like a common fault.Probably time to fit new pads (not skoda).
  8. Front brakes on my Fabia VRs have become noisy sounds like worn pads. Dealer advises plenty of wear left. No brake wear warning light.11000 miles on clock, any ideas.
  9. My fabia Vrs is booked in for service I asked for fully synthetic oil i am told VW50501 as supplied by skoda is fully synthetic Is that correct.
  10. Sorry thought i deleated first post
  11. Has any one experience of towing a caravan with Fabia VRs
