I'm curious as to whether or not the wiring harness will match up also. Especially for the electric adjustment. The FL vRS must be running the same harness as the MK6 golf surely. Might have to enable electric seats via vagcom???
-
I'm going to hopefully go see him on friday. I'll pull the rear seat out and see if that fits - if it does, I might quickly try a front seat to be 100%. Hopefully I'll pick em up for $1500 or 950 pound
-
forgot the image lol
-
I know it's just a picture and that fitment could be completely different....but from the looks of it - they looks exactly the same setup as the octavia seats...side bolsters and all.
-
I hope so - I'm going to call the guy about the seats as soon as its daylight lol...just finished night shift, it's 5am and I'm on the net looking at seats lol obsessed
-
Has anyone fitted seats from a Mk6 into a Octavia? I have come across a set of leather Golf R Seats that would look the part on the Skoda but not sure if they will be a direct bolt in. I assume the wiring harness will be the same for the side airbags and hopefully I can use the electric adjustment once fitted too! Any help would be great! Really would love to fit these seats

Well unfortunately today my missus scratched our brand new rims - not much I could really say. Gutted lol. Anyway, so I've gotta get them fixed but have always been thinking about getting them all sprayed up in a "unique" colour. So what are peoples thoughts on the pic below - feel free to photoshop any other colours in Bit of a dodgy photoshop - the red would be alot more vibrant and the car is going to be a liftback

Octavia vRS Mrk II NEW COLOURS AVAILIABLE!
NSWRS replied to terryjames's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
That green is hot. I think i need to clean myself up lol -
Hoping to add coilovers next year and want to eye off some Porsche Cayenne S brakes
-
I've warned the missus lol...she's a good driver so shouldn't be a problem! All up with the tyres it came to around $2500 AUD. To get the tyres here in Australia it was going to be something like $1900 lol They are on now! I couldn't resist after putting those piccies up. Will get some snap shots today

Applied about 3-4 coats of Poorboys Wheel Sealant....silky smooth
-
I can but I don't really want to, unless my neptunes are sold and I have to....so basically waiting on them to arrive. Here is a teaser though!
-
No caps were sent with them!!! I'm going to wait until they arrive before I do the fit! In the mean time, I'm waxing the wheels...few coats on them!
-
Finally got the wheels, now to get them fitted
-
Ended up going for the gunmetal. Went through pyspeed online and got them for $990 buck but delivered it will be around the $1600 mark all up. Plus $1000 for the tyres, so $2600 in total or 1700 pound in your terms Was going to get the matte black but they ran out of stock! Had to get the rims though, my missus and my wedding is next month and the Skoda is one of the wedding cars...can't go with stock rims hehe

Recieved a nice little package today Continental Extreme Contact DW! Mmmm, beautiful look tyre lol Best part is, they look massive! Can't believe I've got rims coming that fit! They are on their way too!

I was told the other day by a detailing company to use some quick detailer on touch screens! I haven't tried it, but this company does do high end cars day in day out...

Done Originally I was in love with the v710s but once I saw the v713s I was won over! It is such a hard choice when it comes to rims, so many options out there! I nearly went and bought a set of RS4 replicas powdercoated black, but after realising all up it was $2000, I figured it was better to get what I actually wanted in the first place, buying a quality brand and have something not many people have over here in Aus, especially on Skodas! Thanks oobster! I have actually been tracking your car, it looks so damn sexy! Coilovers are on the list for next year, so unfortunately she will sit a little high for the time being but I think I said before, it's only going to be 5mm difference overall! Happy days. What brand of coilovers do you have btw?
-
Decided to go ahead with the V713s. They are officially on their way along with some Continental Extreme Contacts in 235/35R19. I won't be lowering the car for a while so hopefully she doesn't rub yet, plus we never use the backseat - while driving anyway lol jks Hopefully next year I can invest in a set of coilovers. Thankfully the roads around home and to work are great roads, so not many potholes to hit Photos to come
