  1. Cheers for all the info guys. I know what I'm going to do now.
  2. Cheers dude, have you got much feedback regarding the H&R ultra-lows? Ordering my spacers from you now!
  3. The last few weeks have resulted in my front passenger side damper getting progressively worse, leaked out the nose seal to the point that I'm quite certain there is sweet FA fluid left in it, rattles and knocks like a jeep . This may also not have been helped by the 15mm spacers causing holes to be worn in the arch liners, but that is a topic for another day! Anyway, the long and short of it is I need a new set of coilovers. The current Jom's I find acceptable, if a little crashy over the horrendous Telford roads! Currently however finances aren't at there best, so do I bit the bullet and splash the cash on KW V3's or H&R Ultra-lows, or buy cheap again and save the better stuff for a later time? I want to change to adjustable top mounts whatever, which is best part £300 anyway, and I need some smaller spacers too. Anyone with any experience of ultra-lows got any recommendations? Ta
  4. Silent under my brembos. Probably more noisey under a single piston caliper going by these replies
  5. They never were for me! 17/40 seem loads cheaper
  6. Oh wow! My first question is, why would come here when your not an owner so don't require info or have info to share? Thats before the starting of the argument thing. I'mma go back to instagrizzle till I need something
  7. Yeah, got all the calipers and carriers I need, got to sort refurbing before they go on. Already on 17's, will do some test fit to check clearance once its all looking clean and tidy. Cheers for clearing up the master cylinder query and the lines chaps Anyone got any pad and disc suggestions for the fronts?
  8. A quick question, currently upgrading my brake set up to the brembo's from the Leon Cupra R, and 256 rear's. What I want to know is other than changing the calipers and the rest that goes with that, does the master cylinder need to be changed, or is the standard one big enough to cope? Is there anything else I need to look at whilst doing this conversion? And also what lines are will be needed, what fittings are needed basically, keep seeing "porsche fittings" mentioned, but that seems strange to me. Thanks for the help, sorry about all the questions.
  9. No boxes cat back, it burbles on idle, can't hear it when driving normal, and is LOUD on boost. I use it to growl at people that displease me on motorways.
  10. RARB and Coilovers, soooo predictable
  11. For me it'll either be: Passat CC on air ride and some wheels, maybe wrap in colour or Audi A5 with a similar idea Just need more space for all my kit when away, and yes I'm a younger member, instagramers know
  12. mine doesn't open at all atm, best way to pop it manually so I can adjust it?
  13. im going in the opposite direction :( its like 14 miles from home but I have a Midlands championship to try and win instead
  14. I had this problem, I think the seal on the holder was knackered as it was slightly damp compared to the other side. Bought a secondhand holder off evilbay with a better seal and has been fine since, about 2 months now, when it would blow in 2 weeks before
  15. Thanks guys, I was thinking the extra battery would be needed. Sounds like trying to root around and see whats the biggest alternator I can get to fit is, I guess anything of a 1.9 should be straight swap. Can't see the point in a power cap to be honest, my mate ran with one and still fried a ground zero nuclear and then a hifonics amp. Any specs on that battery set up in the picture? And what it was to power?
