  1. It could be the fuel pump also. It is worth checking fuel pressure when it is running...
  2. It is a normal relay and it can be changed with any relay of 30 A that you can find in spare parts shop.
  3. The battery should be fine ever if it is parked for a long time like 2 months. Maybe the battery is old or it is getting discharged by surface charge if there is any acid or grease left on the case of the battery, Try to clean the battery case, check that the inner lights maybe don't have a bad switch or somthing else is draining the battery like the radio or something similar. The diesel should also have a 60 Ah battery to start normally. Also you can take the battery for a load test and they will tell you in what kind of state is in.
  4. The Skoda crankcase is vented through the lifter side and the oil from the head/valves goes the same pathway back into the crankcase. I would try a new membrane on the fuel pump, or change the pump just for a short time to see if its bad. The best oil for favorit/felicia engine is 10w40, the 5W40 is to thin for the construction of the engine. 0,5 liter of coolant would make emulsion in the oil. Fuel from the carburator would evaporate when the engine is hot and to get that amount in the crankcase some cylinder would have to be flodded and it would't start in the morning. My bet is on the fuel pump....
  5. This is my Skoda 1000 MB from 1968. It had a 120 LS engine but it overheated and died so now it has a 120 L engine from 1988. click on picture for gallery
  6. Try something like weber DGEV 32 or a DCD 28-36, I had a polish copy of a DCD (POLMO DCMP) on an estelle engine and it run great but it had big venturis so the consumption was eneourmos...
  7. Maybe you could find a tractor Zetor one it should be similar http://www.zetor-shop.cz/cz/menu/2237/nahradni-dily-zetor/zetor-uri-/x4911-6945-major/kapitoly-43-63/x57-elektrika-i-/clanek-3768-prepinac-smeru-otocny/ or dissasemble this one and look what is wrong with it.......or contact pragos http://pragos.cz/veterani/clanek?id=533&business=1
  8. Rear shocks are completely different for favorit pick up and felicia pick up. Felicia pick up has springs detached from shocks and only way to go up is to get a longer spring.....or maybe try to order this http://tuning.autodoplnky.cz/st-suspensions/distancni-kit-zadni/st-suspensions-distancni-kit-pro-zvyseni-zadni-nap-s3015076
  9. Yes and no. If you are not using Bendix and you are using a carburettor, you can change it with a favorit-felicia one but you have to use the crown gear (starter teeth) from the old one because they are different. So you can not just change it without changing the crown gear because your starter wouldnt work. The crown gear is compatible with favorit - felicia flywheel from all old models 1000 MB - 100 - 105/120 Estelle with 180/190 mm clutch. I hope this help.......
  10. The Favorit shocks have spring plate mounted 2 cm higher, so you would gain 2 cm in height....
  11. Yes it's the X-relay connection. It shuts down everything except hazards and positions light.
