Well went into cancel today but cant do it for some reason but have to give it in writing apparently(which didnt know of)so going there tommorow to cancel, Shame really because its a nice car too miss out on but put a deposit on a nearly new (2k on clock) 11 plate polo gti which i pick up this friday

Popped into the dealer to express my opinions politely today to say that i wasnt happy with the service and too see if they had a build week for it, Sure enough come back and said it probably wont be here till october at the earliest, so i said well u can shove it, so there gonna look for a car similar spec to mine in the network and give me a ring :wonder:. Shall wait and see as i am not prepared to wait that long for it and not too fussed now what colour just want sat nav and bluetooth. So if they cant get a car im afraid im cancelling, which is the last thing really as i do want the car but just not prepared to wait another 4 months as ive waited 3 already(Dunno how some people cope unless under certain circumstances).

Think im in the same boat as all of the two above really, ever since i ordered 23rd march(white vrs,black wheels,sat nav,phone + bluetooth prep)havent even had a build week and its nearly 3 months now so aint got a clue wat to do now as my car is now due a service and new cambelt in 5k so stuck really. Think its shocking tbh this service and i think ill be going in next week for a compromise or to cancel as i cant afford to wait that long. Also whats funny is my dealer rang me at 1030 stating he couldnt access the system saying it was giving him an error and said he'll ring me back and now its 20 past eight and still no word.

Filled me with a bit of hope aswell hopefully ordered sh@t nav aswell, and ordered same day as you so will be interesting

Seems funny because I ordered mine on the 23rd march and still no build week (White,black alloys,sat nav,Bluetooth and mfsw)but also my dealer said I will be getting a 2012 order hopefully will get an update soon :(

Was wondering the same thing as ive ordered a candy white vrs and that would look good in black :p , bit silly to leave it white on a white car

This is exactly what the dealer told me yesterday in an email saying that you will get a my12 model but still had no build week (ordered 23/3/11) so hopefully if you say the factory is preparing hopefully mine will have a date to put on it

This is probably what he means but just wanted to make sure on here if anyone else has had the same thing said to them :S. Or can anyone shed any light on it. Hopefully it comes with the black pack that would be sweet as i ordered candy white with black grigaros aswell .

Emailed the dealer today as he asked me too. He come back too me and said that I still haven't gotna build date as of yet but he said that my car will now be a 2012 model, which is good in one way but bad for the wait :( He also said that most cars now are coming out as a 2012 model. Dunno if he's trying to shoo me off or he's talking sense but hopefully I will have a build date soon as I cant stand waiting.

Looked at getting a mk1 vRS it would be £2k for me (21, 1yncb, live in a high crime postcode :( )mk2 vrs £1700 . Dont ask me how but it is but thats cheap for me lol God only knows how that works out.

Well im 21 and loving the fact im gonna get a vRS hopefully once i get a build week, this past month has killed me waiting but good things come to those who wait so will have to wait . Unfortunately havent got any countryside really to speak of around me unless i drive about 30 miles north which i might have to do when i get the thing

Thats definately a problem, funny because i had a phone call this morning to say i had no build week and my order was done a month ago (24/3) and he didnt say anything to me about it just to say check back Will keep you posted if i get a call tommorow about it :S

Well had a phone call from the dealer today. Said he still havent got a build date to speak of just yet said to ring back in a week to check, hopefully dont have to wait too long now he quoted we 2-3 months so hope hes right (waited a month already not as long as some people on here though)Just hope to god i dont have to wait as long as some others on here its killing me already driving my p.o.s corsa around :(

Wow :p glad i ordered candy white with black alloys that looks very nice indeed, still haven't seen one in Birmingham (yet), Ordered mine on 23rd of March and no update so either its going well or theyve forget about it but gave the dealer a email today so hopefully he will update me soon.

Still haven't seen a vRS yet in brum or around midlands ATM not even seen one in the dealership, closest thing I seen was a monte which looked really nice
