  9. Hi all, Ive replaced my original xenons with the black xenon lights. Now there is some damage to the near side light adjuster (its sheared off of the reflector , ive included a photo) but there is nothing wrong with the driver side. Not asking for much £80 posted for the pair and i think that someone could repair the damage if they were so inclined. These are just the lights and done include any motors or bulb fittings. Thanks, Rob
  10. Ok thanks. I'll get the wheels ordered and spiders sorted and sold
  11. For the guys who are running these wheels over their Brembos, what offset are you running. I'm currently running 17" Spiders which are 7Jx100 ET38 with a spacer. I want to illiminate the spacer as i have a horrid steering wheel judder between 70 and 85 and ive lived with it for about as long as i can. Itsonly me
  12. No mine has all been removed and a new piece of pipework added, so there is just a connector floating about.
  13. SO i think the difference between ours and Warwicks is the fact his EGR is still in place just 'deactivated' which would mean that the sensor is still in place. the issue here is that the sensor just sits there with no connection which is what is causing the EML to illuminate. There has to be some way of tricking this by either wiring it to a different connector or feeding it some voltage. Going to have to talk to Jabba......Kev......
  14. Picked it up in December 2005 and i do think it is a BLT. So a solution to the problem is needed..... looks like im going to need to put a cat on it as well :(
  15. Its a 2005 Fabia, and Jabba were unable to map out the light
  16. Hi people, There are a few of us on here now with the ERG delete and the notorious engine management light, which doesnt bother me in the slightest. However, although my Furby sailed though the MOT this year i have been told that as of January the 1st the illuminated management light becomes an immediate fail :(. I have the engine that cannot have the code deleted so need a solution to trick the sensor that its getting a signal. I'm not going to be the only one on here with this issue come next MOT so a solution needs to be found, unless one already exists and someone would like to point me in the direction..... Regards, Rob
  17. Mine has the same issue and cannot be mapped out. Tried. Kev at Jabba did say that i could use a wire to trick it....... cant remember the details though.
  18. I've got Octavia vRS wheels on mine (wanted to keep it looking stock) with cupra disks 10mm spacers and have to admit i hate it. between 65 and 85 i get a wobble through the steering wheel that developed as a result of using spacers and desperately want to change the wheels to get rid of these things. Would be great if a list of possibles exist.
  19. Ive got a 2005 Fabia VRS which i had mapped from 350 miles. Its now got a stage 3 turbo with all the gubbins and the only issue i had was a duff battery. Its done 51K and feels as it did in the begining. to be honest I had more issues with standard parts (KKK turbo began to fail after 6 months). I use the car as a daily runner getting over 50 mpg on a normal run. I do however let the engine warm up prior to any heavy driving and as my road is covered with speed humps, take it easy over the last 1/2 mile and always do regular oil and filter changes. If you dont look after it right it wont work right!
