From all your responses maybe it's a new policy to include your photocopy driving license. I may give them a ring and ask why. Thanks all.

Is it compulsory to provide copy of my driving license to them? With years of driving I have never been ask before by any insurer. Can anyone advice me on this? I current just took out a policy with sky insurance. Thanks

+1 been there a few times and they provide a very good service with a in-depth inspection not just a simple oil change that most garage do. Very knowledgable people's. -
I've got it on my 06 1.4 16v and my bro 55 vrs has it too.
-
Very luck to walk out of that mate!!! A car can always be replaced and hope you have a speedy recovery .
-
I don't think so mate but there's a tyre shop 50yards up the road and they do she alloy's.

Great service, cant fault them. Last week had two cars serviced by them, very knowledgeable guys and not bad price too. Never too pushy about do this and that, just suggest options and are very efficient peoples. Highly recommended!!!

Had a delivery this morning for 4 Toyo's proxes from camskill, they were very informative about delivery time and damn cheaper than most places. -
Hahah, looks so stupid!!! I mean is that lowered or standard set up? It does looks like a vrs monster truck. Hehe

A good thought with 205 55 16 but I would like to see whether it makes a big impact on the style. It be great if someone can post a picture of it with that thickness.
-
I better start ringing around then. hahaha
-
Hi all, Just been quoted on Camskill for 205/45 16 87W 4 Toyo T1 R at £287.52 including p+p and I was wondering how much do I expected to pay for fitting at a local tyre place? I have phoned few places they range from £11.99 to £15.00 each, including fitting, balancing and value. Is that reasonable? Thanks Chun
-
Where did you get them from if you don't mind me asking?
-
Never again am I having federal tyres as there were cheap but dreadful road noise. I thought I was rolling on plastic tyres then rubber. Hahaha Been looking at kuhmo ku39, good review and not bad price at £74 per corner. I may consider them for all four corners.

Hi all, Just went to see a sliver vrs reg SB05xxx, 39k on the clock and on the back windscreen it's got a club sticker so I want to know if the previous owner can give me some history maybe useful for me before I purchase the car. Thanks Chun

how can you tell if the cambelt has been changed?
chun39 replied to chun39's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
I manage to call the dealer today but unfortunately they can only fit me in on Friday and the the downside is I'm at work. So it's going to be the week after. Initially I didn't realise the vibration until my sister was complaining about it while sitting in the back. It's bugging me since she told me. Hahaha. The idling is fine and noise level seems fine too so hope it's easy to resolve. -

So it sounds like they have changed it but the teeth is out of line. Hope its a simple fix and I give them a ring in the morning. thanks mate -
Hi all, I recently purchased a fabia 1.4 16v from the dealer, the serviced manual do not show the cambelt has been changed before from the service history. They offered to do the change before I pick up the car with 2 years warranty included for the part. My question is recently the car seems to be vibrating a bit too heavy when it is stationary, so my suspicion is they haven't changed the belt(if that is linked together. The car is still under skoda warrenty. Thanks Chun
