  2. Pm me if you need a hand coding buddy!
  3. This topic is comedy gold. "101 things that won't activate City Safe..." Hint: City Safe is fully explained in the handbook and on Skodas website. It explains the operating limits and how it works! An essential read before gathering the neighbours or damaging your paintwork!
  4. 195/45/16 or 185/50/16 apparently?
  5. Would these fit a Citigo? VW fitment 16" 4x100 ET37 7J, apparently with correct vw hub centric adapters (are these suitable for a citigo hub?) If so, any idea on the correct size tyres?
  6. Just saw this thread, I will try and get a pic up soon. Personally I think it looks great, and when comparing it to silver cars without stripes it looks like something is missing!
  7. Now the citigo has been on the road for a year-ish, engines should be very much run in. How many miles do you get per tank, and in what circumstances?
  8. What kind of mpg do you get over a short 1 or 2 mile journey?
  9. Lets hope the persons inside were ok!
  10. Read my PM before you cancel buddy!
  11. That's Dealer logic for you. To be fair my local dealer has proved to be less than helpful with a lot of things.
  12. I wonder where you stand with insurance if you have deactivated a safety feature that was standard from the factory? I bet a good argument could be raised involving the line "if you had your DRLs on, maybe the other car would have seen you earlier..."
  13. £180 is definitely parts only... ...as my opening post states!
  14. Yes, statistically you are more likely to get your car broken into if something is on display. It's usually a waste of time and energy for thieves to just randomly break into cars on the hope there's a Tom Tom inside. Much easier just to find a car with a Tom Tom on display!
  15. After waiting 1hr at the Dealers I was told categorically by the Service manager that auto locking at 10mph could not be activated on my car....i came home, did some reasearch, spent a few minutes with VagCom and I got it working myself. Most dealers don't seem to have a clue about this kind of stuff.
  16. I think there was an extensive previous topic regarding this, the general thoughts were to remove from sight. Your average scumbag will think the PID is some sort of TomTom and break in to remove it in an effort to find his next hit. The sad thing is, I find that I'm not using the PID as much as I should because I never put it in for short journeys of a few miles. Lazy but true.
  17. 1 click = drivers door, 2 click = passenger door. I have been informed that the Citigo won't undo windows (and reverse of this) by holding fob buttons as it doesn't have the physical equipment needed to do this. I also attempted to program this via vagcom to check and it didn't work so I guess it can't be done? (Please prove me wrong as I'd like this feature myself!)
  18. Hey Sal, I'm glad you found a car you liked, regardless of make. You didn't need to explain your choice though, you are free to make your own decisions based on the information you had available. Enjoy your Up! Welcome to the (extended) family!
  19. Boss can you PM with the dealers info please?
  20. Yep me too, but we are going to need a bigger boot after all. Gutted as the Citigo is awesome. Selling for no other reason than what I need to transport will physically not fit in the boot! Doh. Hopefully should be easy enough to sell, they are cracking little cars and still very much in demand. I've priced mine to be the cheapest elegance 75 in the country....still under 1000 miles too!
