  1. Still have these covers available. The fit and quality of them is far better than any other seat cover I've used. They actually cover all of and stay on the seats.
  2. Set of Goodridge braided lines for the Mk1 Fabia VRS. Brand new in box. One line is missing a protective transportation cap but apart from that, they are as new. Copper crush washers not included but they are pence to pick up. Retail at £75.00 - Selling for £50 delivered.
  3. Pair of front brake disk **** shields! Purchased as mine had rotted to within an inch of their life but didn't get around to fitting. Genuine OE Skoda items so guaranteed perfect fitment. They have a small air diverted too, to aid disk heat dissipation. £25 delivered for the pair (cost nearly £50)
  4. Pair of fully tailored Fabia VRS Seat covers Only selling as I have sold my car. I'm 90% sure I bought these from Capital Seating for approx £45/ea They fit perfectly and do not keep popping off like most do as they're fully fitted with multiple attachment points. They have a zip to the rear which holds the back in place brilliantly. Extremely good condition. £45 delivered for the pair. (Please note - the picture is with it fitted in my BMW, hence why it does not seem to fit that well!)
  5. Set of 4x 16" Skoda Fabia VRS Alloy Wheels I have recently had these wheels refurbished but due to selling my car, they are no longer needed. They did not come out quite as I hoped as a previous DIY refurbishment has left small marks in a couple of the wheels which could not be covered by the powder. One wheel has a rather messy couple of spokes too - please see photos. 2 wheels were found to have flat spots on the inner rim. I would advise using these in the rear of your vehicle without issue. Refurbishment - Tyres removed - All wheels checked for significant buckles - 2 found on inner rim - All valves and balancing weights removed - Wheels acid dipped to remove previous finish - Wheels media-blasted - Powder primer applied, followed by Silver colour - Powder lacquer applied for shine and excellent durability - Brand new valves fitted - Good used centre caps fitted The colour is very similar to the original silver, but not identical Technical details: 16" diameter ET38, 6.5J 5 x 100 PCD Suits 205/45R16 tyres Delivery or Collection Due to the cost of packaging materials and courier services, the cost of Delivery is £40 to mainland UK excl. Highlands. Collection is also welcome and much preferred from Stafford - ST19 area Price is £175 collected due to the aforementioned imperfections.
  6. Sorry for the slow reply. I want to sell them as a full set to save the hassle of multiple deliveries etc. Still need to get pics also - will do this ASAP. Thank you.
  7. Hello all, I have a full set of Mk1 Fabia VRS brake calipers for sale. Purchased around 12 months ago with the intention of having refurbished and fitting to my car. Simply did not get round to it before selling the car so they are now for sale. They have come from a car which had a major upgrade and removed at circa 60k miles. Very good mechanical condition and not too bad cosmetically either. Pics to follow tomorrow evening. £60 collected or £70 delivered to UK.
  8. Yes, the mileage is 114,000. The cam belt, tensioners and water pump were changed with genuine Skoda parts at 96,400 miles (March 15) I'll get more detailed photos up soon - it really is a tidy example.
  9. 2005 Skoda Fabia 1.9 TDi VRS 1.9 TDi 130PS engine 6 Speed manual gearbox Full Service History (with all original handbooks etc) 114,000 miles Factory Cruise Control Air Conditioning (ice cold) Electric windows Electrically operated and heated mirrors 2 keys Facelifted model Only 2 previous owners (owned by myself for nearly 5 years) Interior The interior of this car is extremely clean and tidy having just been valeted. There is no wear to any seat bolster and no dirt or staining on any of the seats. I have very recently had the steering wheel professionally re-profiled and re-trimmed in Napa leather with matching red and green VRS colour coded stitching which looks and feels fantastic. Brand new genuine Skoda floor mats are also included in this sale, along with a set of rubber over-mats which I have always used to prevent wear. This vehicle also benefits from cruise control - a very underrated and rare factory optional extra. Exterior The exterior of this vehicle is in very good condition. There is no corrosion, dents or noticeable scratches. The front of the vehicle has been subject to stone chips which is completely unavoidable on a vehicle of this age/mileage. There is a mark on the sill just under the drivers door where the paint has been rubbed by what I assume to be the drivers leg when entering and exiting the vehicle. Both headlights have been recently replaced with genuine Skoda items as the originals were going slightly cloudy. This may sound quite insignificant but it makes the car look so much cleaner and also means the headlight beams are not distorted. This car has not had bodywork repairs carried out to any metal panel. However, the rear bumper has had a scuff repair and the rear spoiler has been re-sprayed due to the plastic aerial rubbing strip shrinking in the sunlight, cracking/peeling the lacquer which is a very common issue on these cars. This work has been carried out to an exceptional standard and the only reason I know this work has been done is because it was carried out under my ownership. All 4 wheels have been recently professionally refurbished in sparkling silver and are in immaculate condition. All 4 tyres were replaced 2 months ago with brand new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2’s – a fantastic premium tyre and well worth the hefty expenditure. A full 4 wheel alignment has recently been carried out also to prevent uneven tyre wear. The rear wheel arches and sills have been professionally sealed to prevent corrosion. Mechanical This vehicle has always been serviced using the correct VW PD specification oil (501.01) which is very important as use of incorrect oil will lead to cam lobe wear, resulting in a hefty head rebuild bill. This specific oil requirement is due the PD injectors used in these engines. To this end, since buying the car around 5 years ago I have always carried out an interim 6 monthly oil change along with a full service each year. All replacement parts used on this vehicle since my ownership have been genuine VAG/Skoda parts with a large wedge of documented receipts to prove – everything down to wiper blades and retaining clips are all genuine VAG/Skoda parts. The cam belt was replaced along with the water pump and tensioner/idler pulley at 96,400 miles (March 15) – again, all parts were genuine Skoda items with receipts to prove. The front wishbone/console bushes are prone to excessive movement so these have been replaced with PowerFlex polyurethane alternatives. General This vehicle is in exceptional condition for its age and requires no work. The drivetrain is in fantastic condition. Please be aware that all PD130 and PD150 engines will smoke slightly on cold startup (normally for about 2 seconds) which is completely normal. I also have an additional pair of refurbished wheels which are fitted with Continental TS850 winter tyres which have been worth their weight in gold (well, almost) when fitted to the driven wheels during winter months. The level of grip they have provided in poor conditions has been incredible – completely incomparable to the Goodyear summer tyres on the snow/ice. These are available with the car for an extra £200 (the tyres alone cost nearly £300). I will include a set of Genuine Skoda roof bars should the buyer wish to take them. I am a fully qualified Aircraft Engineer by trade so please take this as reassurance that this vehicle wants for nothing. Viewing and test drives available but I request that an insurance certificate can be produced at time of test drive or the full cash amount be left in hand. Vehicle is located in Lichfield, WS14 area £2995
  10. Hello, I have for sale a carbon finished engine cover for the Mk2 Fabia VRS. It a genuine VAG part that has been hydrodipped in a carbon fibre effect. It has also been 2k lacquered for excellent durability. It comes with a VW badge as I got it from a Tiguan, but it's the same as the Fabia one once you've put your badge on it. £75 delivered or collection from Stafford ST19 area. Thank you.
  11. Set of 4x 16" Skoda Fabia VRS Alloy Wheels Fresh from professional refurb, immaculate finish as seen in the photos. You have a choice of centre cap which are also included with these wheels - chose from either set shown in the final 2 photos. Refurbishment I have just paid to have these wheels professionally refurbished in Sparkle Silver. The refurbishment process was no expense spared and involved the following.. - Tyres removed - All wheels checked for significant dents/buckles/damage. - All valves and balancing weights removed - Wheels acid dipped to remove previous finish - Wheels media-blasted - Powder primer applied, followed by Silver Sparkle colour - Powder lacquer applied for shine and excellent durability - Quality checked - Brand new valves fitted - Choice of refurbished centre caps fitted (see photos) The colour is very similar to the original silver, but the deeper metallic within the silver gives a slightly darker than original perception. All four wheels are straight and true with no damage. Technical details: 16" diameter ET38, 6.5J 5 x 100 PCD Suits 205/45R16 tyres Delivery or Collection I would much prefer collection but the cost of delivery is £39.00 to mainland UK excl. Highlands. This cost also subsidises the expensive packaging materials required to prevent damage. Collection is much preferred from Rugeley - WS15 area £320 collected.
  12. No, I didn't in the end. Was very tempted but I decided against it because I don't want to risk slipping the clutch.
  13. My thoughts exactly - I think that will be what I'll do. Ive just seen that he offers another service too whereby you send your original ECU to him, he uploads the necessary data and then sends it back. Many thanks for your opinion. It's always nice to hear a reassuring review.
  14. One other hung actually - how progressive do you find the torque delivery? And are you using a standard clutch? Thanks.
  15. Cool, thank you. The only thing putting me off this one is the lack of immobiliser. I might try it for a while and if I get on with it, ask if he can do my original ECU which would retain the immobiliser system.
  16. I would prefer to keep the immobiliser without a doubt..
