  1. Hi peeps, A quick question. Elephant mode, can you do it on AWX engine (TDI 130PD), anyone with info and some pictures please
  2. I've posted this in the wrong forum, ops..... So here we go again: As per the title, pros and cons of the two. Both cars are 2003 with almost the same mileage 83/85 XXX I don't know anything about this petrol engines so your input is priceless. Thanks peeps.
  3. I am sure you are correct regarding the size of the dish, but he could pick up second hand better size dish from gumtree for maybe 10/15 quid. For the price they sell them in ALDI you just can't beat them I was looking at ASTRA satellite website, At the moment they have over 300 FREE English language chanels for UK cover and this is just one of the satelites The best thing about this whole set up is that if you DO NOT watch TV from UK provider by law you don't have to pay TV license ... now this is a deal
  4. I would offer you something different. Go to your local ALDI, they have on offer Motorhome Satellite system running on 12 or 220 V. Included in the box is everything, from the 35 cm dish, receiver, remote and even10m coaxial cable from the dish to the receiver. At the moment they are on offer for £29.99 (at least the one next to me) A friend got one last week and now he is watching 140+ chanels. You have more than 20 satellites over Europe and around 90% of the chanels are free INCLUDING Sky Sport and all the premier football (if you like the game) Have a look here: http://www.digital-direct-aerials.co.uk/index.php/eurosat
  5. I am with Tesco (O2) for the last 3 years, never had any problems. Just changed again with them to new monthly SIM only for £15.00 a month you get 1000 minutes, 5000 text and 2GB data or you could go for 600 min, 5000 text and 1GB for £10.00 quid on SIM only.
  6. Try OBDAutoDoctor Lite from Nokia OVI store. It is free and does what you asking for. if you feel that you need to buy one so get either the PRO version or OBDScope from the same Nokia site. The Pro and the OBDScope are £8.00 quid each. I have a friend with the Pro version and it does everything you could think off. From reading codes, re seting engine light, to running in real time data
  7. Nokia provides FREE maps, free update on them and turn by turn voice navigation, they use GPS, so no data usage on the go. Fantastic 3D and accuracy is 100%. I've been using my Nokia as Sat Nav for the last 4 years and never failed me. The accuracy is about 20 feet, brilliant.
  8. OK the, I don't know what platform you are using but if it is Mac, you could try this: http://www.nchsoftware.com/prism/index.html Working great for me. If you are using windows I am sure someone will chime in soon.
  9. A different approach from me... I have 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab that I've picked up cheap from eBay (£75 quid including posting) The tab is the one without sim card (GT-P1010), not the best quality of sound as you can expect but they are a lot of free Apps for Android radio. I am using one with almost 18000 radio station from around the world and every day they adding more and more. WIFI signal from my home router is good for everything up to around 50 meters. Battery life is good. On full charge I could listen to a radio stream up to 14 hours and I could watch TV with TVCATCHUP, surf the net etc. For 75 quid is perfect digital hub.
  10. The same here, left Orange after almost 17 years with them and moved 2 years ago to SIM only with Tesco (O2). Much better than Orange, for me anyway. As they say: "Horses for courses", for me is better, someone else will say opposite. The bottom line is whatever work best for you.
  11. Well it says "FOR NOW" I believe that this imply that they are working for more card providers to join. This izettle looks like a really nice service. I am wondering how long before they roll one for Android as well?
