I quite agree with your comment on Honest John's dislike of DPFs. I have a Yeti SE 110PS CR which is coming up for 8000 miles and 2 years of enjoyable driving. Does this mean I should be worried and put some money aside for repairs? Has anyone had major problems with the DPF

Although I don't put postings on the forum I regularly read the it to keep up with what's going on in "Yetiworld" We've had ours now for just short of 2 years and thoroughly enjoyed the pleasure of driving and ownership of our "Betty", not only that but it's the first new car we've had that hasn't had to go back to the dealers for adjustments or repairs. We've not done a great deal of mileage but of late I've noticed that we often have to change down from 5th to 4th gear at just over 40mph as the engine judders even when not under any strain or pulling up hill, it requires this change down in order to accelerate. Has anyone any ideas or experienced a similar problem?

Collected our Yeti, a 110PS 2WD SE in Muscavado from Benfield Skoda in Harrogate last Thursday 210411 having ordered it in late November. We have both driven it over this long weekend and are very impressed with it's comfort and handling. Everything very positive, and look forward to a longer drive next month when we go away. Wife has decided to call it Betty as it handles well and therefore must be famale.

Ordered my Yeti back in November and was told it should be here late April early May. Phone call from George, the salesman, that it was being built the following week commencing 140311. Another call on 240311 to say it had left the factory on the way to the port. Hopefully it shouldn't be too long before it arrives.
