137699 what with the bad atitude to a normal enquiry? ive had over 30 cars in my life time and i think i know what i think is good or bad and even if im wrong there no need for your type of response

i contacted a supplier on ebay about the focal speakers but they wanted pics of the back of the current speakers before they would confirm the correct speakers, i havent had time to take the door panels off yet

well ive looked in a few local shops but didnt see anything that i liked , next time im in glasgow ill look further for a better range of speaker choice

door tweeter speaker is knackered.,,,cant replace this as a seperate speaker so may as well upgrade all at once ...last vw golf i had had better standard speakers that skodas oem fitment so theyre not excellent

my niggles are all minor too bonnet release on passenger side ( as previously mentioned ) maxidot rolling control wheel in the steering wheel is too easy to move when steering round corners ie if your looking at mpg next time you look its oil temp etc. wax mark on sills between front and back doors poor placement markers for jacking points ( previously mentioned) hard to remove fuse box lid on side of dash.( top tang catches behind part of dash and is hard to get out) apart from these issues i still love my yeti

going to go back to my local dealer....as its pretty poor...when i ordered the first moulding on my other yeti the spare parts guy told me oh weve sold a few of these....so they obviously know its a problem

Hi Just looking to find a suitable speaker upgrade kit for my skoda yeti , id like to upgrade the lower door speaker and tweeters without butchering the door panels wiring. Ive looked online but so far havent found anything suitable...any suggestions ?

still seems mad that you have to glue the trim onto a 3 yr old car

Hi When i owned my last yeti i some how managed to lose the front plastic moulding for the roof bars on the passenger front side , I went and replaced it by buying a new one from skoda thinking this was just a one off experience. I then changed my yeti for another just before the new year to a lauren and klement version with the silver finish roof bars but while washing the car i noticed that both rear mouldings seemed loose. i was amazed to find that i can simply unclip both mouldings with no real trouble at all.....quite frankly im amazed at this... im going to need to think of a way to make them more secure......any ideas?

I have just changed my yeti from a 2-0 tdi yeti elegance to a lauren and klement 170 bhp 2-0 TDI and im happy with it but i wanted to swap out the rear number plate festoon type bulbs for leds ones.I fitted the new bulbs which are canbus versions from halfords but im getting the yellow warning light on my dash as if one of my bulbs is faulty..is this a common problem?

spoke to my local skoda dealer who said blistering of paint isn't covered by them so it seems ill need to pay to repair it myself ie chips way or dentmaster etc

I am going to go to my local skoda dealer for advice on this issue

sorry I wasn't ignoring you, car was bought 2nd hand but well checked out , the tailgate is all 100% original with no repairs

the edges of the doors are showing through small patches of primer in some parts plus the paint just doesn't look as good as other cars ive owned

hi again well ive checked the car all over and all the panels are original and have no sign of accident damage.The paint seem thin in places and where there a few stone chips I can see indications of rust beginning to set in. Ive had vws' , seats. nissans. and other makes of car in the past but this paint is the worst.

Hi Just wanted to say that I really like my skoda yeti except for one thing, the paint quality sucks..While washing my yeti today I notice that the paint has started to bubble up below the rear hatch glass window on a car that's barely 5 yrs old..

hope you have a dog cage between back seats and all you've packed in case you have to brake hard then most of its in the back seats

hi again Sorry I haven't been back in a while, I found a better solution to fitting my dash cam....a nextbase dashcam fitting kit from Halfords for £10 all fittings to plug into fusebox for an ignition live feed ....done it all today inside 1 hour

wish I could do this with my yeti as it drives mad that if Im turning the wheel... the roller selector has move from fuel reading in the multi function display to something else just because one of my fingers has brushed across the roller selector. In the new style wheel the roller is deeper set below the level surface of the wheel facing making tit harder to move it by mistake.

sorry I was working today just read the mail ill say no ... its ok ill pass as I just discovered I need 2 new front tyres so ill be skint ..thanks anyway

how much are you looking for the winter tyres? im in motherwell
