Nine months for my Scout, ordered mid-Nov 2010 picked up on 18th August........

And I thought getting a confirmed build week of 29 for my Scout after ordering mid November was bad....... No logic to the ordering system at all, you have my sympathy.....

You were lucky - I ordered a diesel Scout mid Nov 2010 and finally today had some good news from the SUK Customer Services! "I have received confirmation from the Factory that your vehicle will be built in the week commencing the 18th July 2011".

Once the vehicle has been built, you should expect to take delivery within 3-4 weeks thereafter." Octavia Scout originally ordered way back 16 Nov 2010.........

Hmmm, I was told by Customer Services that as the Octavia's are made in a separate factory Aqua Blue is not available under any circumstances so iv'e been forced to switch to Satin Grey..Someone is telling porkies!, my current est build week is also 29......

I also heard today that I have a build week of 32, though not in Aqua Blue (unless it's a Roomster, Superb or Yeti - very sore point!) so it will be around 9 months after ordering to del (ordered 16/11/10 Octavia Scout)........I am now going to make myself a complete thorn in the side of Skoda to extract some revenge!

even worse, I ordered my Octavia Scout 16 Nov 2010, still no firm delivery date!. Einstein & Hawking combined would be foxed by Skoda's delivery "black hole" and random delivery system.

Andy you are Sooooo right about the dealer and SUK having no control over build dates etc. They are being dicked around like the rest of us hapless folks who thought ordering a car to our spec was a good idea (over 6 months ago)~....... never again!

Give the dealer a call ASAP, I only found out when I called them and from research on this forum a couple of colours were cut more than 2 months ago from the Octavia range (Rosso as well) check Skoda website....

You are not alone - I ordered an Octavia Scout 16/11/10 - still waiting and arguing with SUK as they now say they cannot supply the colour I ordered (Aqua blue)

Same here, ordered 16th Nov, few extras and now Aqua Blue not available..... so complaining....

Sloda update on order placed 16/11/2010; as they no longer make the Octavia in Aqua Blue they have no build date and I have to choose another colour (couldn't make this up) Just sent a meldrewish email to the CEO, Customer Services and the Czech Republic. They still do the Superb and Yeti in AB so what's the problem! Order Summary:Placed 16/11/2010/Octavia 2.0 CR Scout Estate/Options:Variable boot floor/Electric Sunroof/Met paint Aqua Blue/Multifunction for Maxi-dot/Space-saver spare. And I will also be writing to the motoring press, The Sunday Times and the Consumers Association (Which?), all of which I subscribe to. If I have my way, Skoda will not be winning any more customer service awards.

I have been waiting (& waiting) for an Octavia Scout since late Nov 2010.....

Scout / Aqua Blue / 2.0 TD CR / Extras: sunroof VBF Multi F Maxi Dot / ordered 16/11/2010 - last update 29 weeks (4 weeks ago) no further news - this is turuning into a public relations disaster for Skoda. The common thread though seems to be the "12 weeks" initially quoted by the sales folks........ looking forward to some compensation / free upgrades.
