  1. Sold today. Thanks for the interest/comments.
  2. Anyone interested if supplied with a new clutch fitted for a slightly increased price?
  3. Interior pics. Not the best quality, I had to use flash as it was going dark. The light grey panels on the seats aren't really that light, it just looks that way due to the flash. Better pics to follow at the weekend...
  4. Interior pics are coming, it was dark by the time i got home tonight. Forgot to mention that philips silver vision indicators have been fitted since the pics, along with some philips blue vision ultra side lights and some Narva range power blue+ dipped headlight bulbs.
  5. why so donovan? I have PS3's all round and the fronts are on track for over 20k miles, and i don't treat them well. Loads better than the falken 452's that were on the front, and cheaper due to the rubbish wear rate on the falkens. Expensive at £150 per corner but Michelin seem to do offers a lot e.g. buy 2 get £50 of fuel vouchers.
  6. My petrol VRS has bluetooth and rear parking sensors fitted by the dealer as the limited edition couldn't be specified with options. Bluetooth is awesome, and parking sensors are very useful given the rear spoiler. I average ~32 mpg at the pump on my commute in traffic (11 miles), more like ~37 mpg on the motorway at 75. I'd got for the diesel with your mileage.
  7. Just had second variable service + brake fluid change done on my ltd ed VRS at Clock. It was my first experience with them as I only bought the car in Feb. Overall I would rate the experience as fair. My initial quote of £313 was a bit of a joke as Rainworth in Nottingham quoted £245 including pollen filter change. Clock agreed to price match and I booked it in a few days later. I asked if i could drop off early and pick up at lunch time, they said no problem. When I dropped the car off they said that a minor recall (service bulletin) needed doing as well, but it would be ready for lunch time. I rang at 12:45pm, when it was meant to be ready for 12:30pm, and after a long wait on hold was told it would be ready mid-afternoon. It wasn't ready until 5pm. At no point did I receive a phone call. They also did a crap job of adjusting the windscreen washer jets. They were tilted so far back that the spray hit the rear window! Front tyres were also low, 3-4mm tread, Clock didn't mention them.
  8. Hey guys, I recently bought an Octavia VRS limited edition which I am really pleased with. Incidentally this forum was a fantastic source of info when I was thinking of getting one... The alloys have been changed to an anthracite colour by the first owner, which I think looks better than the original silver. However, recently I feel that they don't look quite right and a metallic grey car with anthracite alloys looks a little be too understated. I'm thinking of getting a set of 18" zeniths as I'm not a fan of the aftermarket look. Have anyone seen these alloys on the LE, or think this is a stupid idea? I'm aware that the LE alloys are a bit marmite and i'm not sure I like them anymore. Plus they are a bit of a bugger to clean! cheers
