Hell! it again started making that rattling noise. one thing more when it rattles it doesnt get latched when lowered. the resetting of lock by turning the key CW and then ACW made it lockable. what could be the prob?

but why sometimes when ac button is pushed off recirc goes on. let me remind you again that it is a manual ac

They should have atleast made it auto lock so that one wouldnt need lock again with keys

i am quite puzzled by fabia's AC blower. it is not HVAC/climate control. i drive in dusty outdoors so always keep the recirc mode 'on'. when about to reach my destination i usually switch off AC but it simultaneously switches off recirc mode also and i have to manually switch it on. But sometimes when I switch off AC the recirc mode stays on? i just can not understand what i should do...i have tried long press or short press but it is of no use any comments please?

Surprisingly today when i opened the hatch the lid opened well without any noise!! i hope it continues to be so. thanks for the reply

it was yesterday evening, opening the boot lid (after unlock)by pulling the lever produced a loud rattling noise (i assumed that something from the luggage scraped against the lid and closed it again) it again came while unloading the boot. then i emptied the boot and tried shutting down and opening the door. to my dismay the rattle came from the lid itself (the lock area) i fiddled with the lever hook in the lock bay of the lid and then i realized i can not close the door.. it wont hook up and you can lift it without releasing lock. well after locking and unlocking it 2-3 times i was able to click it shut but the rattle still persists and i fear opening the boot again. what could be the problem?

you may be right but you can see the interest it has generated.

for single din hu ... i fitted in JVC it sat in neatly without needing any extra facia plate. the wiring harness was a problem to find and i had to switch yellow to red in the connections between the harness and the audio unit. no cutting of wires. BTW how are you planning to install rear door speakers?

Hi Naresh i am from jaipur i have purchased fabia 1.2 tdi ambiante. can you suggest any vag com mods for my car? what i really want is to tweak the display to give me atleast kpl or lp100km. how do u retrofit remote locking in ambiante? thanks in advance abhi
