hi all, can you help me with some info. Is anything that need to be done in order to change the bolero to Columbus? Except the utits is needed to be added an gps antena or other cables ? I understand that i need 3T0 Columbus. where i can find the version of Columbus? i want to know before buying it ?

Jannesm i'm happy to tell you that i have the car from one month. I received it on 16.09.2011 . And is SUPERB I bought a set of 16" wheels for winter tires and i was surprise by difference between the 17". I know that it should be a difference because the 16" has more rubber but the difference is big (especially in Romania :p ) I don't want to know how it feels with 18" rims. You received your car ?

Hey guys don't you see that we are the stupid ones because we bought a third class car. He is now selling the superb and with that money he will buy a e class merc from 1999 =)) Yes this is a open forum but if you want to undermine a car you should come with proofs.

when i read the charlie h comment i started to laugh. He say that he didn't understand why the people compare superb with e class merc or bmw but he buys the cheapest superb from the market. "i have the 1.9tdi and its just so boring" but you choose the engine. I believe that you wanted to buy a Maybach with a price of Dacia Logan. Prices for Skoda Superb start from 18.576 EURO (16.206 pounds) and ends around 40.000 euro (34.898 pounds) with extras. I think is a big, no is a very,very big difference between 16.206 pounds car and a 34.898 car (is more than double price). As you have the car for taxi the purpose of it was to have enough space on the back seats and on the truck and also to have a very good mpg. If you bought a 25.000 pounds superb (not a 34.898 pounds one) you get top extras like good ventilated leather seats with electrical adjustment with a lots of options.

Jannesm seams that we have almost the same car. Mine is also amethyst with ivory vent seats and no sat -nav. only bolero. pano but no kessy. and other extras. But what is interesting that you order 2 weeks later then me and you will have a estimation production 2 weeks later also.

I finely got the production week and that is 38 so the end of the September. As i understood, in Romania the car is getting 1 week later so it will be between 19-23 september, but i will see what can i say .. that i'm tired to wait so long time.. and this 3 remaining weeks .... it will be difficult

so in order to do this you need to resoft your bolero an also to take it out in order to add the antenna? The original functionality of bolero remain? What was the price to do this ?

if this is true .. is a great news. I understood that you install a application on bolero. But what i don't understand is how bolero has gps antenna. This can't be added by a software. Can you tell us more details about this ?

@GWR4936 i just talk with my dealer and my order remains as it was 1 week ago .. expected to be delivered in week 38. I hope to solve the problem with skoda.. what can i say, i don't know how is it to wait another 6 months for this car, but, in case they say that the car will not be build , i don't know what car to choose instead

As i understand .. this version is a classic 4x4 but with some optionals. What do you know about this ? some pictures ?

My build week was changed from 43 to 38. @GWR4936 on your order is same ?

i think park assist is only a software option. As you have front and rear sensors i don't see what component missing from your car. So i believe that the Park assist can be added with a software configuration or something like this. I will be interesting to see what will be the solution of this.

DH- Leeds i asked weekly information from my dealer about the estimation of the build date. From last month the build date was unchanged. I asked here if is anybody that waits for a car with same specification and it is. The cars have same specifications (Superb Elegance combi CR170 4x4 with various options ) and have both the same build week : 43. More of that one order (of the @GWR4936 )is from uk and mine is from Romania. I think is obvious that they build the cars in batches by some car specification in this case (170 hp engine with 4x4. and maybe can be the sunroof also).
