My Roomster front windows are not working fitted a new drivers side switch but to no avail. Moved gator back and noticed some semi broken wires so bought a Vemo repair harness but it came with a load of loose wires and a door frame socket so now I’m confused any help out there?

Hi, anyone had this problem: blip once with remote to lock car and a short faint alarm sounds as lights double flash to indicate it's locked. Then after a while I notice lights flashing but no alarm. Have tried unlocking and locking again but still does it after a while. I have checked that all windows are shut. This has only happened recently. It is a 2007 1.9tdi Roomster. Does the siren have a back up battery and its failing? any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. I have owned the car for 6 years and has been brilliant.

Right decided I'd get a new switch so off to local parts supplier who had one on the shelf for only £8.00 inc vat. Back home watched short video from Mr Rooney above did exactly what's shown ..... Easy peasy! All works ok in the drive so I'll test it properly when I take car out next. Thanks for all help and responses.

Hope that's all it is I'm going outside soon to fiddle with it. The lights did go out yesterday eve after I moved the brake peddle and prodded around the area above but it was dark so once I got them to go off I left it and went to bed.

My brake lights are staying on even with engine off and car parked plus the glow plug coil on the dash was flashing for a while on the last trip. Can anyone help please.

I paid £360.00 total to have mine done and gladly paid it

Thanks that was it so easy when you know how

I know it's silly but how do I alter the time on my 2007 1.9tdi Roomster. It's still on summertime. I find manual confusing there is a butten thing by dials but that's the trip thing

My 2007 1.9tdi handbrake does not hold that well on slopes I have to really ratchet it up told dealer but he said adjustment ok. Admittedly the travel is not far up. Wonder if anyone else finds this. I tow an Eriba caravan sometimes and struggle to hold it on a hill stop

Has anyone tried those handy racks that you pump up and they strap through the doors?
-
Yes good point what is under those black strips on roof? Well I am a bit despondent now regarding roof bars I will see what my dealer says although I am almost frightened to ask

Have looked on Internet and I cannot find any bars or racks to fit Roomster without rails be gratefull for any info or advice it's hard to believe a car could be built that cannot have a rack or bars fitted!

It's probably been discussed before but I have a 2007 Roomster 1.9tdi and would like to be able to carry a kayak so what are the possibilities of getting roof rails fitted so I can have roof bars?

I get about same towing my Eriba Triton

To continue my sensors/towbar dilemma, since it appeared my dealers conclusion that the towball cover was interfering with sensors we had the bright idea of putting a balloon over towball as it will rust otherwise which seemed ok at first then soon after on reversing the same old constant beeeeep! Now I'm fed up and want a removable towbar
