Last Saturday I visited a local Skoda dealer, test drive Yeti nady by the Shanghai Volkswagen.

There is a mistake in this report, the Chinese version of the Yeti lengthened 60mm instead of 80mm. However, Tiguan lengthened 80mm, when it was listed in 2010.

so,how about a Yeti RS?

Anybody know the difference between these two shock shock absorbers ? the above is a imported Yeti 1.8TSI, the following is a FL Yeti 1.8TSI made by ??the Shanghai VW.

it is said that Yeti made by shanghai VW is coming to local Skoda shops this month. as the first model,it will be a 118kw 1.8TSI all wheel drive with 6speed DSG. then, a 110kw 1.4TSI with 5MT or 7speed DSG will come later. some photos from local web sets. Rear spare wheel is one of options.

Yes,it was said that the car isone of models of Yeti made by SVW ,which is one of loal Joint ventures of VAG.it has a length of 4275mm , width of 1793mm , height of 1682mm , wheelbase of 2638mm . According to reports first model of Yeti is equipped with a 1.8TSI engine and a 6-speed auto gearbox, will be released in upcoming weeks ,while the l.4TSI models will follow up later in this year.

SVW started production of Tiguan in early 2010 , but Yeti come to our local market relatively late, because facelift and localization of Yeti spent as long as three years, it is said SVW will start production of Yeti recently,mybe in Sept. I guess Yeti Mk2 will come Europe at the end of 2016 or early 2017, then NF Yeti made by SVW come in 2018.

I like Yeti FL , If they make the lower grille like a smile mouth, mybe it looks more lovely and more kindly .

I think spare wheel is not the part of camouflage but a option for Yeti,mybe only for AWD models. the car has a different rear bumper module with a special rotatable triangles bearing for spare wheel, keeping the top hinged rear hatch unchanged.

so what about the rear spare wheel ? :wonder:
