Fabia vrs mk2 itg induction kit
P1TT8ULL replied to Davemvrs's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
For left hand drive cars you need to keep an eye on the brake reservoir cap as a guy on here had a forge iduction kit which in time managed to unscrew the cap. -
Has anybody on here got any experience with the above or know of any uk companies that deal with them. Everything I found seems to be usa based whixh is no help as they dont have the 1.4tsi to develop on. thanks, james

WORD OF WARNING dipping vRS oil level..
P1TT8ULL replied to sharkrider's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
I think everyone shiuld just drop all the oil out and refill with 3.6l at least once every 100 miles. No need to worry about over or under filling then. -
Where to run boost gauge house?
P1TT8ULL replied to Frenchi93's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
With the forge kits you get a little block that fits between the inlet manifold and pressure sensor. Tee off the pipe that connects to that block to give both boost and vacuum. If you dont have the forge kits you need to get a self sealing nipple and go in to the pipe thats a right angle at the top right hand side of the engine. -

fabia vrs twincharger remapping
P1TT8ULL replied to redtop170's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Do not what ever you do go with revo. They stg2 mapped my car, blew the arse out of the turbo amongst other stuff and I ended up with about 3k worth of repairs to do. Then would accept no responsibility and wouldnt even ralk to me on the phone. -
Yea can bus adapter is needed to provide a switched live which is the yellow on your stereo as modern cars only provide a permanent live which is connected to the red wire on the radio. Canbus adapted is best as it gives your radio other info such as light and speed pulses. Most importantly it tells your stereo to turn off automatically. You can however connect both red and yellow wire to the permanent live but you need to remember to turn the radio off when you get out the car as it will stay on until the battery is drained. Or third way is to take a feed from a switched live, usually the cigarette lighter but no good for Fabia as its permanently live, from the fusebox with a piggy back fuse. Hope this helps

Have you got the can bus adapter to supply the switched live?? What you describe is when the radio is only getting the permanent live.

Any tweaks on VAGCOM worth doing on VRS?
P1TT8ULL replied to TeebsVRS's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Change the xds setting to hard -
I've got 225/45/17 on 7.5j rims. Need atleast a 15mm spacer on the front 20mm on the back and they still rub without Modding the arches.

VRS and changing VCDS/VAGcom settings
P1TT8ULL replied to XK140's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Xds can be changed. -
Boost is measured in psi and compression ratio is measured as a ratio 10:1 for example. You can't mix the them
-
Anything upto a 225 is OK.
