  1. The rear ashtray broke today. How do I remove it?
  2. I took the folding backrest option. I have had use for it many times already. I highly recommend it. And I can conform that the lumbar support and the seat heater is still there.
  3. I have the iPhone 4s streaming with the Bolero. I can see the track name and artist on the Bolero screen. And control the music from the steering wheel.
  4. You can't turn ESP off. Only ASR. Normally you don't have to turn it off. You will notice then you need to turn it off. The ASR light on the dash will light up all the time and the car has difficulties to go forward. I only had to turn it off once. But I was going uphill in 8 inches of snow.
  5. King Bore visited us today. It's a kind of day to normally stay inside. But I had to take my daughter to the train station. It was difficult to change gears. The clutch was stiff. But overall. The Yeti performed well as usual. Temperature meter
  6. Thanks! I guess the dash will light up as a christmas tree with fault messages when I remove the fuse?
  7. The snow drifting season is here. But when the fun begins, the Yeti grabs in and prevents me from playing. :( I know that the ASR can be turned off and it helps a little, but I also want to be able to turn the ESP off. I know that some 2012 VW cars have a two stage-system with the possibility to first turn the ASR off and with a longer press on the switch also turn the ESP off. Thats what I really want! Is there anything that can be done to correct this behavior? Remove the fuse? Some kind of reprogramming?
  8. Finally got my 2012 Steel Gray 1.8tsi Experience last week. The first week of ownership has been filled with joy driving it, and exploring all the features. The car is everything I expected, except for two issues: 1. As an engineer I was chocked by the sound of the engine. When I'm starting it, during the first half second or so, it really sounds like a diesel. And lifting up the hood and listening to the sound of it when it is running, I feel that something must be broken. A modern petrol engine that sounds so bad mecanically! I want to add that if I am sitting in the car, I can't hear it. I talked to my dealer, but he tells me that its the normal sound of the fuel injection system of the tsi engines. I have seen some posts from owners complaining about the sound of the 1.8tsi, but I want to hear your experiences about it. 2. I ordered the car with MDI. But to my surprice, there is no aux in in the armrest. I know it can be different in diferent markets, but whose of you who has the MDI option, is the aux in missing in your cars also?
  9. I went for Moon Alloys with dubbed winter tyres. I paid 1300 €. Rather expensive, but I don't want steel rims 6 month a year
  10. From the swedish Biltema. It cost 199 skr = 20 euro. I have seen the same kit in other stores. But in the UK, sorry I don't know. One of my friend at work used it on his car, and another on his motorcycle this summer. Both with great result.
  11. I had my last puncture this summer. I have it every 5-8 years. Then our Yeti will arrive in a couple of weeks, I will be getting one of these It contains drill, plug, glue and CO2-bottles to repair the puncture. I keep the boot space and don't have to use the nasty bottle of tyre seal
  12. Called my dealer. The car was built today. I hoped, but no change to navigation for me :( Bolero will be fine. At least THE WAIT IS SOON OVER!
  13. I just saw an ad in the Swedish site www.blocket.se for a 2010 Yeti 110HP diesel 2WD with 55 000 miles
  14. I took some photos of the color plates back in may then i ordered my SM: Skoda colors
