  1. If its just to get projector headlamps mate you can get prefacelift ones. My 08 sport has projector headlamps as standard
  2. there should be a ignition feed in a empty space in the interior fuse box.so route the power wire from the unit to this.you may need a extra length of cable right enough
  3. The main reason it turns itself off is to prevent the battery going flat.so don't think I'd want to mess about with it
  4. I've a pre facelift sport and I beleive it's based on "trim level 2" some of the added features are however front splitter front fogs rear boot spoiler rear bumper spoiler chrome tail pipe on exhaust tinted windows sports seat/leather steering wheel and handbrake tilt alarm sensor 16" bear alloys/low profile tyres chrome style interior trims
  5. did you try swapping the yellow and red wires around on the wire loom ?
  6. run the ignition feed wire from the radio wire loom down to a ignition feed in the fuse box.bottom row first in the left, and you'll find a ignition only 12v feed. depending on what loom you got with the unit you might need more wire to route down
  7. very hard to detect a leak to the naked eye.usualy the garage inject a yellow die in the system and check for leaks using a uv light.
  8. or how about a confederate flag, ala dukes of hazard lol
  9. don't quote me on this but I've got a feeling the standard dials uses a pull/push cable system to operate the air flow direction so got a feeling as the previous poster says might be quite pricey to convert.good idea though, would like to know the outcome
  10. have you got the lug part sitting correctly ? try disconnecting the bulb and turning it 180 degrees and then re connect
  11. more then likely needs a new boot latch, but yeah defo under warranty
  12. if you take it back to the dealer and you say the fault occurs at 90 they won't/shouldn't test it. so maybe an idea to say it happens at 70 to them.

  19. woudnt have thought they would rub unless you've lowerd it. could be the wishbone bushes begining to wear or just quite simply you where going to fast and the springs where hitting the bump stops
  20. apparently you don't really need the primer.dipyourecar.com I'm sure say it's only 3-4 cans for all alloys.if you check the video of the Jetta the guy doesn't seem to use more than one can for all that trim
