I have recently driven a 1.4 tsi and after a 2.0 tdi my next octavia will definitely be a 1.4.what a fantastic sweet engine and more powerful than i ever imagined,looking forward to next may already,if i can afford it! and at 122bhp it goes like stink!! -
a very sad day,my thoughts go to the family of our 6 brave young people that gave their lives in afghanistan.

Hi all,i,m seriously thinking of changing my 2.0 tdi octy for a 1.4 tsi.what i want to know is,does it have a dmf?what are the turbo failure rates(if any)? i only do 7000 ish miles per year and most of those are short runs so i,m looking,maybe,to change..Thanks all.

thanks wings..just had my m.o.t.done there at the weekend and,as always,find myself feeling very much at home there,justin,nick and paul to name but 3 have been very helpful.so much so in fact that i even travel 70 miles from Norwich to get this great service and if i want a 1.4 tsi in the future i'll know where to go!! thanks wings. -

just had kumho kh11s fittedand have completely transformed my car,no more dreaded road roar,would recommend.. -
well,try NOISEKILLER for the under bonnet and boot and on top of the boot noisekiller try 8mm carpet underfelt,very cheap and easy to cut

Hi everyone.really enjoying my octy 2.0 tdi and ive just finished soundproofing the boot and wheel arches etc,so now i need some new front tyres and i want the quietest ones available at 195-65 r15s,anybody? please?
