Thanks everyone for your help on this NOT! The car had the injectors changed a put a sicker on the ecu do not update. The car is like new. It is 237 bhp at the fly wheel. Having the injectors done has improved the car. Again thanks everyone for your help lol

So you have to replace to whole manifold. Could you not just replace the bar?

oh no mine is due in next week but it has been re mapped and dfp is removed. Mine is an o7 bmn engine i am thinking against it now

My car is due for the recall for the injectors i have had the dfp deleted and the car is remapped. If they change the injectors will the map be deleted or will this cause me problems?

i have been told to change this but no one seems to know what it is i have been told it has a split diaphriam.

Dave i am not sure what it is people are calling it differant things i will try and get a pic later. My car is a 2007 vrs tdi BMN engine the part is a black plastic thing it sits above the Alternator i thick it works like a vacuum there is a black pipe on it that goes to a sensor switch. Is there a diaphraim in it that could split? thanks Paul

Tech1 i think your right . Is in a black plastic part with a rod that goes behind the can belt cover if so do you know the part number so i can get it replaced. Is the egr diaphragm easy to change?

i have the same problem with mine i have been told it is the diaphragm in the vacuum solenoid. But when i phoned skoda they did not know what i was on about so i will take the car down to them next week
