yea checked it its the sensor after the cat under the cover. no broken wires everything looks 100% new sensor it is . Prob replace this in the next day or 2 was expecting it to be cheaper than £35 tho. oh well

hi all my engine management light has been on for the last day or 2 just got around to plugin the reader in getting a few errors P0140 - 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected P0141 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2) guess this points to my 02 sensor being goosed or could it be something else? also very stupid question is there more than one? as eurocar parts has Exhaust System After catalyst and also Exhaust System In front of catalyst, my engine is a AQW

I have just ordered the bluetooth interface thingy for the car. Car popped up another CEL last night. Was undecided if i should get a code reader or just the dongle. Decided with the dongle as I have a few tablets/phones around the house and torque looks like a ok app. would of went with vcds and a cheap cable but no laptop.

Its got to have been the Gf's car. Even tho that's ugly. I know everyone to there own and such but that's bad

mines at 132,000 Still going strong. Has needed some work. HG was still on the org one so that's been replaced, Rad needed replaced, Thermostat & Housing Most of my work has been in other places, Strut top mounts, Springs, console bushes, ball joints and arb bushes. most of it is not that expensive. I think I will prob be getting a newer skoda way before it dies out

check the sensor just above there that's a normal point it leaks as well. I replaced mine a few weeks back just got the cheap one and used the forum discount code "brisk25" 25% off all parts. make sure you get the right one as well as there was 2 sizes for mine.

if its the mpi 8v its a chain and normal. Mine does it . Best check how many miles it has done it needs changing at around 120k miles

I normally just slap in fully synthetic every time in the mpi. Worth the extra cost only gets changed once a year anyhow so not really a major cost if you think of how many miles you do on it.

my mk1 easy fits me the SWMBO and 2 kids. 1 In a stage 1/2/3 carseat and the pushchair in the boot. And still have room for shopping.

Hey All Just had my car to the local Indy to have a look at the car. was getting a knocking noise. He's just showed me that the balljoints needed replacement as they are shot. Surprised as I only changed these last year when I changed the console bushes. Is it crap ebay parts? or can something else caused them to go again this quick?. Anyway jabout to order then from ecp And also the passenger side coil spring Anyway spring's noticed on ecp they have 3 lots of them with the only thing different is the price... yep 100% agree.... my car has just started making a nice knocking noise on pull away and stopping also when any bumps in the road. and yep went over plenty potholes and drove on some sh**ty roads. And this time I am way to lazy to sort it myself. To the garage it goes on friday

Weeee fabia is 100% again for now. I was lazy and did not fully remove the bumper now thinking about it would of been easer. Its strange the screws being at the front when there is plenty of room at the back. Ah well its a skoda....... Oh and thanks for that

get the faults read first and with the HG what engine is it?.. and go from there electrical is not 2 bad depending on what it is. but if ya are thinking of breaking/selling cheap what colour is it

Nope but had a lumpy throttle response this morning. Went shopping came back to the car just before and now error is gone and cars driving 100% again. Odd Still taking it to find out the error codes

Hi all After everything else my gem of a car has needed done this past 1 1/2 year. This morning the engine management light decided to start flashing going off and coming back on. Now its decided to stay on. Have not drove the car for around 2 3 days before this happened. also seems like a little less power than normal on pull away etc. no other warning lights Taking it out in a bit to find out what the error codes are. Anyone know if it could be something simple or expensive?
