  1. Hello all, I've got a Dragon Tuning box for my TDi but I can't find the darn instructions! I know how to fit it but I can't remember how to set the jumpers for different power levels. I remember that someone here had done a great diagram in on of the threads showing this but I can't find it! Can anyone please help! Thanks
  2. If you're anywhere near Bristol come into the AppleCentre there as that's where i work and I'll give you a run through!
  3. I have fitted a M.O.S. cd player to a MK4 Golf Gti befor and I had to swap the ignition and battery wires around be cause the radio was constantly on, hope this helps
  4. I used to love ion Horfield too (Quarrington Road) miss it very much round there, didn't have my furbs back then though
  5. Hey, we live in bradley stoke, I work in town so you'll often see me on the M32 in my green 1.9Tdi Elegance and SWMBO in her yellow furby VRS. I'll keep an eye out for your Octy, where abouts are you in Brizzle?
  6. 1.9 with an analogue chip - with remap to follow maybe... so getting
  7. Will look out for local meets, hope to see some more locals on here soon! Look out for my VRS wannabe! One day one will be mine!
  8. Hey, I live in Bradley Stoke and work opposite Temple Meads Railway station so drive into to town most days, can also be seen on the Ring Road (A4174) around Warmlel/Frenchay, giving my furby a good thrashing!
  9. Hey, I saw 3 Furby VRS's today on the way to work which made the commute bearable as the traffic was awful. Black VRS - at the Aztec West Roundabout (8.15 ish today) Silver VRS - at the Aztec West Roundabout (8.15 ish today) Black VRS - going down to the Evening Post roundabout in town (about 8.45) Were they anyone here? I was in a green furby with my flashy wheels (crawling at 2mph!)
  10. Hey just a note on the Logitech wireless headphones - they do snap! I work for an Apple Centre and we have now discontiuned them for this very reason. They're basically too heavy for the plastics they are made from. Hope this helps!
  11. Which scrap yard was this, sounds like a bargain and just what I'm looking for!
  12. I have tried to find an answer to this question on the forum but haven't found a clear cut answer: Is it possible to remap the ECU using one of these cables? And If so what software would you use to do it? Also are there generic maps available (like the ones Jabba would use?)
  13. I bought my Fabia from here as I am originally from Oxford and at the time they were the only place that had a 1.9TDi in my price range. They seem to be a family run business and although mentioned all the finance and GAP insurance, were never pushy. I'm a salesman myself and I liked their very honest, upfront nature. I had a problem with my fuel gauge (which was correctly diagnosed on this forum) which they fixed under the free 3 month warranty my 2001 car came with. I would definitely recommend them and in fact my Golf GTi driving girlfriend is buying a VRS Furby from them at the mo. Hopefully she'll get as good customer service as I did. So thumbs up from me!
  14. TSW Pace 16" on a 1.9 TDi (100BHP) standard suspension
  15. Thanks for all the advice its much appreciated and so nice to find a place to chat. This is my first Skoda and its great it goes like the clappers and apart from this problem it been a dream - I'm already thinking of saving for a VRS. I shall try the battery and then take it to the dealer as I have checked all the related fuses and none seem corroded of blown. Thanks again
  16. Hey did this fix your problem as I have the same fault on my Diesel Furby? Cheers
  17. Anyone had a fuel gauge that reads as empty despite the amount of fuel in the tank? This is occuring at the same time as both interior and exterior lights are flickering and the power steering cutting out. Any ideas as only had the car 5 days! Otherwise its a great car and leaves many others standing!
