Had my white estate a week now. I had nearly a 7 month wait but it's been worth it. Just a shame about the weather these past few days. You'll love it once you get it!

Car delivered today after 9th nova order date. Good to see it in the flesh so to speak. It has been a long wait and I certainly sympathise with all that are still waiting. Keep the faith!

Hi ben, my car finally came in today, actually saw it in the workshop midway through its pdi. Should be in it for Friday. Thank you so much again for all your help, I appreciate you keeping a look out. You have made the final few weeks bearable after such a long wait!

Yes real pleased with it, good camera work I say! Thanks again for your help. It's been in Grimsby for a week now so hope it's on its way tomorrow. Ideally would like it this weekend. It's frustrating how close it is yet so far. I had the daft thought you were the only delivery driver but assume that ain't true. Any day now fingers crossed!

I've added you to Instagram so if you get chance please take a pic. Does your return to Grimsby mean you'll do another load tomorrow? Do you happen to know when the dealer knows the day of transport to them? Just wondered whether they should have updated me already.

Got some news after prompting dealer today. Car is in Grimsby awaiting transport after bw17. Ben - not sure if you can help, dealer said it could be upto 14 working days to receive the car. I'm slightly concerned this exceeds my pcp contract (just) but dealer will look into this on Monday. What are your thoughts on delivery, is 14 days to provide contingency? Or is it likely to be delivered next week?

Just be wary of the lead time, my deal ends this month and I should have my new car by then. Didn't think it would be this tight when I ordered in November. They have offered to extend my contract if the car doesn't arrive by this point but I guess this option is dealer dependent.

I'm still waiting for delivery, ordered 9th Nov. Apparently built wk17 so should be en route to UK if not already here. No update from dealer but no big surprises with this given they have only contacted me twice since order placement!

Cheers Ben, it's been a long wait as most of us have endured. Ts nice to know your car is built but even better once it's been seen in the flesh as you never know until that point!! Hope Tuesday brings some welcome news

Hi Ben, one from me, just wondered if you had seen a White VRS estate going to Huddersfield. It was built start of last week so presume it might have been in transit possibly at dockside by now? No worries if not, my wait of 6 months is hopefully nearly over! What can a couple more weeks mean

Assume you mean updates? I've had all of one in my 6 month wait! At least it's befit built next week so this turmoil can end!!

I ordered first week of November and have confirmed bw17. Consider yourselves lucky!

So I'm kinda confused by the call I had with the dealer today. I called to find out an update ( as to this day I've only received one text message as an update since ordering in Nov). Dealer told me that I have a confirmed bw17. Now I've read a number of threads and I'm not sure if this can be true. The dealer did say my order had changed status but I thought bw wasn't confirmed until 2weeks prior? Anyone had something similar? I was hoping bw might be sooner but glad if it is finally confirmed!

I've gone from BW21 to BW17, not getting excited at all as I'm sure that will change for the worse, hopefully not though!! I'd like to get it by end of April to eliminate need for new tax on my current vrs. I would need a BW14 I reckon.....

Been waiting 3 months and 3weeks, provisional wk21 build so that'll be around 32 week wait, is that 8 months....jeez! Only went for Vrs tdi estate with only cruise and window tint!!

Does anyone get the feeling that in general Nov order= wk20 build there or thereabouts? Hope mine has gone forward too, was at wk20 but nou sure I want to call SUK in case it has gone further back!

White.Estate TDi black pack, spare, window tint and cruise. Ordered 9th nob was at bw13 then 10 and now 20 Seriously considering going elsewhere. Anyone know what happens if delivery is after the end of your pcp?

Ordered 09/11/2013 VRS estate TDI manual little options, no provisional build week, from previous update was at BW13 If that comes true about 25 weeks from order to delivery!

So 13weeks from order, no contact from dealer apart from two that I instigated. Called SUK today to find their systems down, no call back as yet. Called dealer, all sales on phone or with customer, said they would call back, no call. No sure if everyone gets the same piece of paper as my dealer gave me upon order that clearly states your sales rep will contact you every two weeks to give a status update! Clearly they haven't been. I wasn't too concerned initially as my pcp ends in May so wanted a 14plate but as supposed delivery gets closer I'm starting to rage!!!!

I didn't realise when I ordered that I'd be getting my new car so close to when my 3year deal is up!! 10wk wait so far and based upon the above another 12wks is unfortunately in order. This appears to correlate to my provisional build week of 14. I actually was at the dealer getting my current Octys it's last service and had to sit in the demo to remember what the new Octy felt like!!! I suppose it's hard to comprehend the lead times but it's even harder to comprehend why dealers just don't tell the truth and at least contact you with it!
